First it started out with a modern take on City Hall, and then I said "heck with it", I went a little further. This is my first package of buildings. It's a three in one download. City hall, the courthouse, and the mayor's house. The city hall idea derived from my traditional looking one, which I noted was "old looking". And as I like the traditional look, I know there's a lot of people that want a lot like this one. So, here it is. As you can see, I also decided to give the mayor house and courthouse a little makeover too. All you have to do is download the file and extract the lots into your plugins folder. If there's a lot you don't want from the package, just delete that lot from your plugins. The buildings are cheaper to plop too: City Hall: Plop: $20,000; Bulldoze: $1600; Monthly: $280. Courhouse: Plop: $22,000; Bulldoze: $1960; Monthly: $110. Mayor's House: Plop: $1500; Bulldoze: $100; Monthly: $5. Screenshot 1: Mayor's House and Courthouse. Screenshot 2: Primarily City Hall. Also for the mayor's house there is the firework effect. Good luck and happy plops! -

I love the idea that SimCity 4 put cemeteries in the game, but naturally, the temptation won me over. Thank you Lot Editor . This cemetery I made is a smaller alternative compared to the ones in the game for variety purposes of course . It's 4 tiles wide and 2 tiles deep. It only costs $200 to plop with no monthly cost as usual. Bulldozing cost is $50. Where it's a smaller size, it's also a little easier on the pollution levels...and of course no cemetery's complete without the "ghosties" effect. Merry Christmas everyone! -

When I seen the new design of the WTC recently, I decided to make a lot of my own. This lot has no jobs. There is a statue of then NY mayor Rudy on the left corner of the park along with flowers and memorial blocks. There's plenty of trees. I decided to pick these buildings for the memorial because they look almost "ghostly" at nighttime. Naturally, nothing can truly replace those beautiful buildings that once dominated the New York Skyline. But we'll never forget them. -

Sure it's great for your sims to have a medical clinic down the road from where they live. But what about their pets? This is probably not one of my best lots but I think it's pretty suitable. A nice little vet where your sims can take their pets for check ups, regular vaccinations, and of course, medical treatment for the endless mishaps any poor animal can get into. It has just about the same functions as the small medical clinic. After all, animals are sims too. Good luck and happy plotting -

When I look back to the days of playing SimCity 2000 Deluxe, there was a great option in the version I always loved...that was the tilesets to make your city a little more colorful. Besides making your city look like a scene from "Futurama", you also had a tileset option to change your intrusive water pumps into tree lots that functioned the same. I caught a heavy dose of nostalgia making these lots. And I made them cheaper to build...just like the good olde days . So if you were a fan of SimCity 2000 Deluxe and/or if you're not keen on those clunky water pumps, this little kit might be for you : Pump 1- Plop Cost: $200; Bulldoze Cost: $50; Monthly Cost: $25; Power Consumed: 3 Pump 2- Plop Cost: $400; Bulldoze Cost: $100; Monthly Cost: $50; Power Consumed: 6 PS...I haven't quite grasped the Lot Fondation/Retaining Wall aspect yet. So for the sake of appearance for now, these items are recommended to be plopped on flat terrain. Good luck and happy plotting -

When I seen mrbisonm's Xmas tree, I caught a little bit of the Xmas spirit and decided to make my own little lot. Thanks for the inspiration mrbisonm, and great lot! Crazy Pete's lot goes along the same scheme as the Farmer's Market. Pete's sort of a solitary guy and he may live in a shack but he works feverishly all year round to grow the perfect pine trees for families to bring home. Judging by the size of the trees, he's been at it for years. No wonder he's called crazy . But he's obviously got a green thumb because he harvests plum trees on the side. When your lucky sims pick out and purchase the tree of their dreams, he'll be glad to cut it down and sculpt it to fit the living room perfectly. Pretty busy spot. Good luck and happy plotting -

Introducing a small and simple landmark that will make you scream "Mother", paying homage to Anthony Perkins....the PSYCHO we all love . This landmark is so small, it doesn't cost anything to build. Complete with the infamous house and couple of crime scenes. Not to mention Anthony getting picked on by the cops in the inn's parking lot. Good luck and happy plotting . PS...Works nice on a hill, just like the movie. -

Here's an updated version of my rowhomes. I added a few more things, and the neighborhood looks a little prettier, not to mention I made a little park for the kiddies to play in. When you go looking for this in the game, it's under your parks tool, making it plopable. I have to admit I was a little disappointed with this one. Mainly because this is supposed to be a residental zone, and when I use the query tool on the row homes it only comes up with a maintenance cost of $5 (same as a park, grumble) instead of saying the resident status, yada yada yada - like I wanted it to. This was only my first try with something like this, so can anyone give me a couple of hints to making these plopable zones? I'd greatly appreciate it plus I'd update this lot. Good luck and happy plotting -

There's elementary schools, high schools, libraries, colleges...etc. But for your artistic sims, they need a school devoted to art. I am an artist. And after watching tons of those "Art Institute of..." commercials on TV, I was inspired to make my own to fit nicely into my city. After all, those poor, artistically repressed sims deserve it. Now they have a place they can go and get a degree for doing something that can expand into a great career. And finally! I have figured out how to use a couple of the MOD programs so when you download this building, it won't replace anything in your educational bar! It's a SEPERATE education building. Woohoo! Good luck and happy plotting! -

This is an upgrade from the City Hall that I built a little while ago. There's a few changes, hopefully for the better. One especially nice change is that this building WILL NOT replace your original City Hall in the game. The lot in all is a little smaller since I cut down the tree factor - 6x4 to be exact. It's still got the traditional look complete with the Big Ben but I changed the building around the tower (thanks ZhanDVG, you're right, it did clash). There's now a couple of parking lots for city employees. And the best part? It's cheaper to plop: plop cost: $9000 bulldozing: $2000 monthly cost: $150 power: 25 water: 60 Unlike the game's, this City Hall DOES NOT cause any pollution. NOTE: In order to view this in your city you have to have the Schloss Schoenbrun landmark from the Maxis site. Thanks for the feedback on the original lot -

I had a hard time with this one...whew... Are you tired of looking at ferris wheels? I was, so I made something a little more challenging for my sims. Nightlife Row is a great place to come and party. This lot has a casino, various club, hotels, shops, and a nice long beach where all the tailgaters like to hang out and fire off the bottle rockets. There's no cars allowed in Nightlife Row, and your sims don't really need them if they just want to walk around and tour the sights. They just simply park their cars down by the beach and go for a stroll. This lot replaces the State Fair. And there is one little catch...this lot has a beach so it has to be plotted by water. Happy plotting and good luck! "Oh I-ahhhhhh...I love the nightlife...I love to boogie...." -

Are your sims bold enough to step into the world of GEORGE ORWELL'S "Nineteen-Eighty Four"? (Thank you, I did mix it up with the other guy...ooops) Praising the screens? Military personel walking all over the place, constantly watching your sims' every move and peering into their thoughts? As creepy and uncomfortable as it seems, don't feel too sorry for those "brainwashed" sims yet. As long as they're working under powerful, backstabbing mind control, they're helping generate $350 per month just as the army base would. Just a note to you that none of the industrial places don't seem to be working, so this is a good thing as far as pollution goes. "Nineteen-Eighty Four"...A good book to check out (consult your local library ) And remember...look out for the Thought Police, 'cause Big Brother's watching. -

This mayor is pleased to hear all your opinions about my first lot I've ever built and thank you very much for giving me tips and help . With that in mind, I present to you and your Sims a BIGGER and BETTER S.E.T.I Research Center. A bigger lot, a couple of more buildings, including a little resting shack for all your little sims who like to pull all-nighters doing research. Chinese food anyone? Unlike the last version, this is NOW an advanced research center so now your sim S.E.T.I team can finally get paid for what they do . And even better...MORE SATTELITES! Happy plotting everyone and thanks again. -

Maybe I've watched the movie "Contact" too many times, but besides the fact that there must be other life in the universe, the sattelite dishes are pure eye candy for me, and I'd like to thank Victory and the movie for inspiring me to build the first lot I've ever built. If you're a mayor who believes in the little green men like I do, this mini version of S.E.T.I research is a definite must. Give your sims a chance to get involved in the wonders of the universe and search for traces of alien life with the highest technology...and LOOK! GREAT LOOKING SATTELITE DISHES!!! (giggle) You'll find this lot in your park and recreation section once you've put it into your game.
