ssfc it is a joke, its a 'parody' of all the crap BATs that get uploaded by people that are eiher a waste of time and space or have been rushed on to the STEX before they have been perfected. hope that helps. And samubo he's not taking the mick out of Noobs, just people who upload their early work way before they should

I'd have to say that Mulefisk's is the most realistic by a LONG way! (at the top of the page) just looks perfect, all to scale, the roads fit together beautifully. th only thing missing is road sign or two before the junctions!

you have to make sure there is enough ground between sea level and gorund level. If the sunken was 20m deep and you are only 16m above sea level you cannot sink!

Neotrezz, i liked the green banks the way they were. It had a British motorway look, they use a concrete 'honeycomb' as a retaining wall and grass etc. grows through the gaps to form a mat. If you could change the texture just to make it a little less dense / green it would look ace! I think the banks you have now look a little too artificial

I'm afraid you can't really make an airport city without cheating, or zoning lots of commercial (they LOVE airports!)

I like it all except fot that black and white speckled texture in the middle. It looks like you've over stretched something. Apart from that it's great! Suits itself nicely to commercial buildings -
wow that looks fantastic! you sure like your train stations! any idea where you got those cool sea walls from?

borntoboogie replied to wir3d's topic in Architecture & Urban Planning

if you want to create landscapes the best thing you can do is download the sc4 terraformer ( https://www.simtropolis.com/modding/index.cfm?p=details&id=391) all of the martian terrains are included in the installer, though you may find there are some issues if you are running on vista... try opening your sim city game and creating a new landscape. It should look all martian. As far as i'm aware the default regions will not change to martian if you need any more help you can PM me b2b -

simmars-forum-threads BAT Workshop
borntoboogie replied to AndisArt's topic in SC4 BAT & Lot Workshop
That looks pretty good! specially for a first BAT! only thing I'd say is to make the warehouse building look a bit more weathered / dirty looking as its only c$ Also the warehouse probably doesnt need that gap at the back - makes it look like it's open which can't be much good for the employees! I like It though! if you can change those couple of little things it will look very good! have you tested it much in-game yet?
