DEVELOPING MACEDON Hello and welcome to my second CJ, DEVELOPING MACEDON. The map can be found in the maps section (Macedon). As some of you know my first CJ was wiped out due to a hard drive crash and I have been working feverishly over the last 2 or 3 weeks to, not only get this CJ going, but re-installing SC4 and all of the MODS, BATS, and LOTS that I have re-downloaded from the STEX and other places. I have taken precautions to ensure this doesn’t happen again…er…well… hopefully doesn’t happen again. CONCERNING POSTS AND UPDATES: I will do my best to post 5 or 6 days a week (I need at least 1 or 2 day(s) off to refresh myself). My definition of a post is simply replying to your comments or keeping everyone updated on the updates. As far as an actual update is concerned I believe it’s best to update when I’m satisfied with what I have done. In other words, I won’t be updating every single day, but most days. I have been working with the LOT EDITOR and am having fun. I would like to try my hand at the BAT. But it really doesn’t look like it’s for me. We shall see. This might hamper the speed of an update as well I would like to thank not only all the people listed in my signature, but many others who have greatly influenced me over the last several months. In fact what I’m going to do is dedicate each update to one of those people and post a hyperlink to that person’s accomplishment. This not only includes fellow CJ’ers but the amazing BATTERS and MODDERS as well. This is just an experiment; let me know what you think. Now as John Cleese once said “Enough of this gay banter” (Well…I’m bantering with myself, but you get what I mean) let’s get started: For now lets start with the Region view: I will post Update 1 soon: Take care my friends.

Crazychickensc12: Thanks CC. Concerning the glitch, LOL yeah I have seen that a few times before cityhawk: Thanks my friend. I have changed around all the Rock Mods. They look better now I think.. Owenluby: Hey mate. Thanks for the compliments.. Alfred.Jones: Thanks my friend. I appreciate it.. bat: Hey bat, unfortunately I had to scrap that rock mod as it looked too tiled from other zoom levels. But I still think the new ones I have made look very good (IMHO). Thanks.. jacqulina: Hey Jacky my good friend. I always appreciate your encouraging words.. Thanks very much.. Schulmanator: Hello and welcome to my cj.. Thanks for the comments... GMT: Thanks my friend.. asturianu: Hey my friend, I'm glad your finding use for the flora. I'm sure it will look great in your journal.. I appreciate the compliments mate.. salut221: Thanks my friend... PhilsCafe: Hey my good friend. I have changed around all of the rock mods. They look much better now I think from all zoom levels.. Thanks for the comments conceerning the church. Always appreciated Phil... Yoman3: Hey Owen (it's nice to know your real name) Well your wish is my command. I never liked those power lines either. I'll change them when I have the time.. Thanks for the suggestion. It's a good one.. Take care.. St. louis dude: Hey mate. Unfortunately it won't be thriving for much longer (see below) raul39: Thanks as always my friend. jglei701: Thanks very much. Most of my work lately I have been attempting to compliment cycledoggs stuff. I can't go wrong when I do that because his stuff is great looking.. Darmok: Hey John my friend. Thanks for the compliments.. I actually just threw tose rocks out there to see what I could come up with. I guess luck was on my side this time. Thanks very much.. tommiej: Thanks alot mate.. spa: Hey spa, nicce to see you. I'm glad you liked mate. I am also glad my sigs work That would be embarrasing. Take care.. Just so you all know I have started back to work again which is good and bad news. The good news is.. well I'm working (too boring staying at home on injury leave all the time), the bad news is I have very little time for SC4 at least for now . I am also helping put together a Christmas concert at my church so that takes up most of my free time. It's not like I'm leaving and will never update again. However the updates will be reduced quite a bit for at least a couple of months until things get back to normal.. I'm sure everyone understands. If I don't comment very often in your journals or BAT threads don't take it personally. It's simply because I literally have no time at the moment Thanks for understanding and like I said updates will still be comming, but not nearly as often (only when I can).. Take care all and God bless..

That's a lovely cabin Jacky my friend. And it comes with a pool? Any hot tubs? LOL Seriously this is a very well thought out little cabin area.. Take care..
-
Very cool stuff you have done over the past couple of updates my friend. The "S" shaped appartments especially caught my eye. I have never seen them before. Your also quite the storyteller. And here I thought your talent was only in making great cityscapes.. I'm not suprised your journal is 109 pages (and counting).. Great job..

Hey CC. Your residential area is really comming along nicely. The sunken highway is a lovely touch. There are alot of different angles and curves to the roads which give it a very creative appeal.. I also like your rock mods. I would try to perhaps combine two or three textures into one (I use photoshop for that) to give it more variety. See if that works.. I like the volcanic one the best. Great job in all my friend..

Another lovely building Spa. Personally I would try to add a second color to the wall texture. Perhaps something "dirty" or darker. Just my opinion of coarse. The detail is fine the way it is. I wouldn't add anything to the detail.. Take care..

crazychickensc12: Thanks my friend. I appreciate it. BTW Lovely rock and water mods 6underground: Thanks my friend. I'm glad you liked.. Ace_F15: Thanks very much. Right now I'm on sick leave so your right in a sense, part of my life I don't have right now.. Take care.. Alfred_Jones: Thank you very much my friend.. jaqulina: Thank you as always my friend. I'm at least back to using my right hand when it comes to the mouse.. Things are getting back to normal.. We'll see. I'm looking forward to you using it (flora) in your cj Take care my good friend.. bat: Thanks as always my friend.. PhilsCafe: I always appreciate your comments Phil. Your one who looks very closely at all the details. I appreciate that. The stump idea was Couchpotato's, she's the one who deserves alot of the credit.. Take care my good friend. I hope you'll get some time to play. RL can be tough sometimes.. patriots_1228: Thanks as always my friend.. Yoman3: Hey buddy. I'm glad you liked.. It's nice to see my flora in other CJ's. It lets me know I'm contributing. The mossy reef rock was made to be used underwater, it looks ok on land, but underwater is where it belongs.. Thanks my friend.. zelgadis: Hey I love bridges too. I guess we're both weird. Thanks my friend.. hamsterTK: Yes it's simgoobers spillway which I believe can be found in this set Hopefully I'm right. It's been a long time sinse I downloaded it... Thanks for your comments my friend.. Nik-nik. Hey mate. I appreciate your comments. My arm is slowly getting better thanks. As far as the rapids go it's always in the experimental statge it seems. Hopefully one day I'll be happy with it.. Take care my friend.. BTW Yes the tree stumps are mine but Couchpotato came up with the idea.. salut221: Thanks as always my friend.. AFTER ROCK MOD UPDATE: patriots_1228: Thanks I have created a better one I think (see below).. salut221: Yes I understand. I didn't like it either. It was my first one though.. I have played around with a couple more. One is below in my new update.. Take care.. wouanagaine: Thanks my friend. The RPK pack takes some getting used to but it's invaluable as it combines simgoobers canals and Pegasus' streams. There is (true enough) alot more flora (nature stuff) to choose from now. I think people can create some amazing things with it.. BTW the black rock mod has been scrapped for (I think) a better one.. It looks pretty good too in region view. Take care.. Alfred_Jones: Thanks my friend but I believe I have created a better one. That was just beta stuff.. Take care.. Darmok: Hey mate. I scrapped that rock mod. After looking at it I agree it was too black, besides from certain angles it looked odd, too squarish, not natural looking. But I think I fixed that problem. Thanks for all your comments my friend.. bat: Thanks as always bat, I have created a couple of new ones that I think are better.. GMT: Thanks my friend.. asturianu: I'm so glad you liked buddy. I'm looking forward to flora being in your great journal. Take care.. Great Download(s) St. Bartholomew's Church Update 47 Building Westfork's First Church: Dedicated to Darmok Today I want to build the first church in Westfork. St. Bartholomew's will do nicely for this community (or soon to be community). It's a beautiful old church created by gascooker. The first pic shows the area where the church will be placed.. (47.1) Lets design the hill where we'll put it: (47.2) Lets place the church: (47.3) Every church needs a parking lot and a nice little relaxing park near it: (47.4) Lets add some new rock flora (note: this is as of yet unreleased rock flora designed to compliment the rock mod you will see in later pics) (47.5) Time to add some trees and flowers (47.6) Lets zoom in shall we: (47.7) A night pic from another angle: (47. And finally, the church and the river from a panned out perspective: (47.9) Enjoy and have a great day: God bless. sorchin...

Very lovely teal water mod CC. I'm playing around with water and rock mods myself. Your rock mod.. well rocks.. It's nice to see a "meat and potatoes" look of your downtown area too. Nice use of Buddybuds embankments my friend.. You are really comming along and learning alot.. Doing mods isn't the easiest thing. Way to go.. Take care..
-
I'm looking forward to this David.. Your making headway that's for sure.. Only two more days until Monday?/ Yeah that sounds like us carpet cleaners can use the same line.. Very true...LOL..
-
It's always enjoyable comming to your CJ. Your waterfall effect is a fine addition to the game. I unfortunately had to take it out of my plugins because my computer lags too much with it. I'm getting a new computer soon so I'll be able to resurect it soon.. cycledoggs terrain mod certainly looks great in your cj. What a lovely picture (the second one).. Take care amigo..
-
WOW. I always get my mony's worth comming to your CJ John. So many lovely pics. Concerning the church goers playing tenis after church.. Nah, they will most likely eat first, go rest, THEN play tennis.. LOL. You took us through the entire scope of communities in this update.. My favorite area was probably the area with the church, tennis court, soccer field (pic 04). Neat idea on the last pic with the "writing on the dirt".. Take care my friend..

Glad to see your still around sloppet.. Nice mosaic. As for the "hiden meaning".. Hmm.. I give up.. Prey tell??

Yeah jeronij's clouds are a nice touch to your valley city. Nice choice of rock mod as well not to mention the water texture.. It's nice to see your journal always continues to evolve my friend.. Take care and congradulations on reaching 108 pages (nearly). That's quite an accomplishment..
-
Nice mosaic. Especially the park in front of the tall greenish building Fox. I always enjoy your journal..

New Global Rock Mod: Hello all, sorry too busy to answer comments today, I'll do that my next official update: I have been playing around with rock mods. Here is the result so far. I used a test city, not a city from my journal.. Let me know (honestly) what you think.. I call it black granite. I think it blends in nicely with cycledoggs terrain.. When I have more mods ready to view check my BAT Thread (see my signature for a link).. That's where I'll be posting updates for this Mod from now on.. Take care all..
-
Excellent work Yoman. I have only used the mossy reef rock under the water, but you utilized it elegantly above water. I'm looking forward to seeing how the bridge turns out in this beautiful part of town. Take care..

This is a cozy tropical area crazychickens. You have a nice assortment of homes and commecial zones that compliment each other. I'm assuming you have your industry in another city? I'm interested to see where the sunken highway will go and what will develop around it. It's a city that is built to grow from what I see. Nice job my friend..
-
I would certainly love to stroll through those parks you have in your city.. Personally the "bums" of your city probably live like kings.. What a lovely scenic drive I just went through..
