Hey! Bad news who watch this CJ... Yesterday my PC brought me a present: CXL just didn't want to start properly, so I re-installed it. Then my city gone Now, I think about what to do: should I to try re-build Marcon or to start a new city?... If you get any ideas about it - just post it here, ok?) Your help will be estimated. Thanks! P.S.: I still have a trouble with starting the game - after the splash screen gone, it's only dark screen appeared with non-moving cursor on it and nothing happens (only reboot makes changes ). Who knows what to do? I've tried to re-install video drivers - after that CXL starts normally, but only at once. It's ATI Radeon HD 3500 (x2 - I use Crossfire).

Hi there! I’m the new one! After two years of watchin’ all that CJ’s and many years of building my own cities, only a couple of days ago I’ve decided to start My First CJ There are some things about my CJ to start with: first of all, I don’t use cheats, modes, etc. (just because I don’t want to use it); the second point is the updates will be appear from time to time without a schedule or something (it’ll be approximately once or twice a week); and in conclusion – I’ll be pleased with your opinions so don’t be shy to discuss my city and to give me some kind of advices and so on So… Enough for “working moments”! Let me introduce you Marcon City! Good morning, Marcon! Grocery in suburbs – Eastern Gates. Morning view. So… Citizens are awaken and on the way to their work, and it’s the same time to look at the map! Legend: 1 – Eastern Gates – unskilled workers suburb; 2 – Western Gates – the same as Eastern Gates but on the another side of Main Street; 3 – South-West Mereth – low-rises offices; 4 – Oakwood – skilled workers suburb; 5 – The Block. Our traveling to Marcon starts with its officially borders on the north-west. The way to the city goes through its famous farms. On the way to the city a little bit past farms there is a lonely motel. … And here it is! At the city entre there are The Gates – Eastern and Western one. In here lives workers of local factories and farms, that we’ve seen on the way to the city. They’re simple and quite friendly people if you won’t be a troublemaker for them (but if you are – you better to be fast as Swift-footed Gonzalez and hardy as Forrest ).Border between The Gates is the Main Street. And here are some pics from The Gates: Another border of Western Gates is Kerterbrook Avenue. It separates Western Gates from Oakwood. Curiously that Kerterbrook Avenue is the second of the most longest streets in Marcon City (the first one is the Main Street). It also connects city suburbs with industries. Kerterbrook Avenue. Day and night views. As I said, on the other side of Kerterbrook there is Oakwood. Here lives skilled minds of the city. They are mainly working at offices at South-West Mereth nearby. Another borders of Kerterbrook are The Block and the Main Street (looks like it’s the border of everything here, isn’t it? ). View to Oakwood from Valencia Street (at the top) and from Kerterbrook Avenue (at the bottom). Recently, it was a significant event around here: first Medical Center was opened in the Oakwood on the Main Street. It’s the first step on the way to (maybe) the best health-care system of the region (who knows?..) ! Oakwood public clinic. Western from Oakwood there are South-West Mereth (aka SWMrt) and The Block, which consists only of the City Hall and a Tramon Square (the last one is across the Main Street). It forms a kind of enclave for the government. Locals are even joking that The Block is a Marcon City’ Vatican! However, there is some of truth in its joke – The Block is the enclave among the Marcon just like Vatican among Italy. And The Block have its Father too! But the difference is the Marcon Father is servant of the City – not a God’s one Marcon City Hall. Tramon Square. A little walk thru Tramon Square and you’re in the South-West Mereth – financial district of the nowadays Marcon. In here manufacturers from the north buy their offices to lead their business to success in comfort and with a great view from the window (it’s better than in smoking factories with all that not-so-washed-up workers around you, isn’t it? ). The borders of SWMrt are Main Street from the east and Kerterbrook Avenue from the north. Another special event happened a couple of days ago: western by Valencia Street the building of Pride and Glory, High-risers Pioneers of the SWMrt (as of the whole Marcon City) has been finished – Nolan Towers and Plaza has opened their doors for potential investors and businessmen, who helps our city with its development by flow of their fresh ideas, diligence and (of course) money. So… The day goes by and the sun is goes down. I hope that this trip thru the city is not bored you and you’ve enjoyed it And all I have to say for now is: “Goodnight, Marcon!”
