    Upon Inspiration from Jule78 I have created several lots (and hope to create a few more) in a mini-1984 mod for SC4. All four of the ministrys are here on the LEX and I would like feedback as to what effects each should have. I would like to have them be functional as well! I can add properties to them but sadly I'm less inspired as to their effects. All I came up with were the ministry of Truth lowering E.Q. and the Ministry of Love decreasing Crime. As soon as I get the changes hammered out I'll mod a new Version 2.0 with the modifications for everyones Simming Enjoyment (or lack of enjoyment to the sims within the ministrys! ) The Ministry of Peace was the place where war was waged in the book 1984.

    Here it is, the long awaited Sears Tower! An Architectural masterpeice culminating at 110 floors. Here it is for your Sims' enjoiment. It is the high quality render. I made the building 5X5 now instead of 6X6 to reduce the appearance that it was too chunky. Enjoy!

    I know I can turn them with home and end, but every peice has a straight section of rail up top. None of them are a turn so I can make the rail curve. All of this is referring to the EL over Roads. The Double Decker thing or whatever.

    Hey I tried searching the forum all over. I installed the NAM and am trying to use the EL Road Stacks. There are some crazy things though... How do I turn it? I use the EL Road T-Junction and it's still just a straight peice of rail up top. Also where are the stations? I went through and put rails over one of my entire cities only to realize I didn't know how to get people on the rails. Anyhow I'm really sorry if these have been answered but I've been looking for 2 days and searching the forums and reading readmes and just can't figure it out.

    Ya I wen't through and downloaded every growable decent building... I got like 2 buildings.. Im gonna make growables from now on I think. Capacitys realistic, since the building employs.. special.. Double decker cubicles to fit 2x the floor capacity onto half floors.. Uh ya.. Thats beleivable :D

    Hmm... I still don't quite understand what you mean as of shading but on the city skyline, there is one. Very lightly reflected in the glass is a skyline. A SC4 skyline infact. :D I thought it was a nice touch but I could make it more pronounced if that would make it look better.

    Add Shading to the windows? How do you mean? I would love to improve the way this looks and I did think the windows looked a tad odd but I didn't know quite how.

    This is a growable lowrise commerical office building. It holds 700 employees and I think just looks nice and clean... I made it just playing around with rendered splines outlining windows and it came out pretty good so I was like... eh maybe others may like it. Enjoy!

    Since the night effects don't show up in my SC4 even with the patch, I couldnt see what it lookd like lit up. :P Let's just say this version has an internal powerplant so that the city only has to power a tiny bit. And thanks 4fingers! This lot's gotten a great response from everyone and I'm happy.

    I've gotten so many comments that it looks like the world trade center. :P Maybe I should darken the texture a tad, make it a tad taller, and release a World Trade Center version. :P "The World Trade Center Aon Center Mod"

    Hey it's me again with another trinket of Chicago. The Aon Center, formerly known as the Amoco Building, and even formerlyer the Standard Oil building. This building was also the tallest building in the world from 1973 to 1974. This is not an exact model as you can see its shorter than it is in real life (in comparison with the Sears Towers' on here). However this is a more... Artists depiction type dealy. I think it looks ok a little smaller. Oh well I hope you all enjoy this. It's a landmark.

    Ya I've gotten alot of comments that the Aon Center looks just like the World trade center, probly because mines a bit grayer than the real thing (Aon center is very white). But I still think it looks good... It's finished though and if I get it all packaged up it should be on here later today.

    Sorry that last comment wasn't very clear the high res is 5X5 which I will update tomorrow with the 1.0 v... The one up now is still draft 6X6. Just to clarify!

    I'll try updating it tomorrow with jobs. I got the high res render done, not a whole lot different looking but at the slightly smaller 5X5 size it looks better than the fatter 6X6. I'm so glad people are still interested in this one! Thanks again for support all
