Fixed the headlights on the Class 33 to a single one in the middle, and altered the night-lighting on the asymmetric '3rd/Buffet' car on the Blue coach set. I think I will release these coaches and the Class 33s first, and then work on the EMUs afterwards.

I got some fantastic news today as Girafe has very kindly given me permission to use the carriage model with these skins, so work is being done to prepare these for release. I've remapped the roof so I can add gradient to it and I think it has worked out very well. In addition, I have also created a new set of passenger coaches to go with the Class 33 locomotive, and a few variants for the Class 33 itself. And I've also made the Southern EMU with two different roof textures for some variety. I'm quite pleased with how these have come out. I will probably end up making a dedicated thread for these soon, once i'm ready to release these.

Thank you. I think asking for permission would be the better route to go. I'm happy with the diesel and the tweaks I've made to it since posting. The carriages i'm alright with, however the way the roofs are mapped wouldn't allow me to add much weathering to them - it's one part of the texture repeated several times across the roof, rather than it being mapped as one thing, so I can't add a gradient across without it going 'stripey'. I've been working at 512x512 currently for the diesel (and the carriages are a similar size and quality. I haven't scaled it down yet to see what the effect is but I will certainly take that into consideration when I release anything.

Thank you for the kindness. It's taken just over 14 years to go from registering to first post, but it's been worth it. I don't like to set goals because I can't guarantee how long this will last for, but I'd like to make some more HD-friendly versions of some of the UK rolling stock that currently exists. I would like to know what I would need to say/include if I were to release those reskins of Girafe's rolling stock. But today I made my own version of one of the older-looking trains, the Class 33. I've seen it pop up a few times in various places and journals so I'd like to imagine some people would find it useful. I need to tweak the nightlighting on it but I'd like to release it soon afterwards. And if people have some suggestions for UK-based rolling stock, I would be happy to consider those too.

I've been registered since 2006 but this is the first time I've posted. Decided to make some UK trainsets as a learning exercise for modding automata, as it's something there's not a lot of. These are real liveries, one historical, one current, based on trains where I live (Greater London). I used the " BSC - VIP Girafe Train Corail HD + BB26000 (v1.0) " as the base (so i'm not sure I can release these), and made a few variants of each. First up is a set based on the old Network Southeast livery And the second is based on the current Southern livery If there is interest, and it would be acceptable for me to do so, I would upload these. I may also make some more liveries. I would like to try making some Intercity liveries for the High-speed railroad stock.
