    Another helpful thing, is when your city starts looking like *$*#, you can use your disaster buttons to relieve the stress a little. Killing simoleons really does it for me. The way I base my cities, are the way the cities in the real world are built. In my region I have at least 5 major interstates running through. I make sure my roads connect in a realistic fashion. I start my cities out from farming, then work my way up from there.
