If i writes down a big list of suggestions and ideas that may be considered as being in a new Sim City, is there a way to get the developers to read it or something like that. Do they maybe read this thread? Have some ideas but i'm not sure if i will write them down if it never has a chance to be considered into the game. Maybe Simtropolis will do a list of the best ideas from people and send to Maxis later? And this is the right thread for this? Really want to play a city building game but i feels that SC4 is incomplete, wants new addons, not just buildings.. And all other city-building games are crap. -

Would be very intrested in any news regarding a new SC I actually doesn't care so much how many different buildings there is from the beginning if they develop another game. The most important thing is that they made it more modable. If they just provide us with a good ground to start with we can fix everything else. The modders here are awsome. One thing they should add is tourism. It's boring to only be able to build industry cities. Maybe it's hard to fix that but i hope EA will do it anyway, they can save time from not adding so many buildings or ask members here to make some. They must also make so that we can add more types of transportation and roads without removing the original ones. I have many ideas, maybe i'll write them sometime.. Maybe we should write to EA about some ideas that people have, or do they read it anyway? And then like CaptainHailey says, the graphics isn't important att all. -
or this one who gives you some billions a month https://www.simtropolis.com/stex/index.cfm?id=3820 if you use that, plop it directly when you start your city and let i go one month so you got your money and then remove it. You don't have to worry about money anymore. If you use it for to many months the game may crash as a result of to much money.

Is it possible to do a mod that removes all maxis buildings from the landmarks menu? I've seen a mod that removes all maxis buildings in the game but i only wants to remove the landmarks. I really can't mod but i guess this i an "easy" mod to do?

<p>I have a region with around 150.000 inhabits and big demand for all classes but i can't even get the medium dense building. When i zone medium there's just family homes there too. Shouldn't they come around 20.000? The "biggest" buildings i've got is those two stories apartments. What can be wrong? I had that demand cap mod installed but removed that now and tried but i didn't get them anyway.</p>

I'm on my way to loose the motivation to play now. There's always at least one big irritating bug in this game. I'll give you some stats from the region so you can see if i must develop more of something. The problem is for all classes too. Residents: 184.571 Commercial: 46.263 Industry: 305.396 _________________ Total Jobs: 351.659 That's make a different of 167.088. So i should easily be able to fill medium sized apartments. There's low taxes in those cities too. The only thing i can think of is that i have used SuperDemand mod to get all the industries but it shouldn't make any different.

hm.. demand is high and i have a two medium sized cities full with industry jobs + that i have the quadrapler(?) mod installed.

i don't have any low at all in the cities i try to build medium but i have undeveloped low dense zones in other city tiles. But in those cities there's no demand for it for some reason. Everywhere else the demand is high but in those cities i want them and where there already is thousands of sims there's no demand at all.

Yes, water, power, schools, hospitals and all that stuff. 2x2 and 3x3 zones is what i have tried with. I want them to build without those parking lots that sometimes comes with them. I think it is 2x2 for them so mostly is that.

in talk about weird demand: Why is it so that the demand for something can be at the top in one city and then at the bottom in next? Often when i want to build a city with something, maybe R$ or Hi-tech industry, the demand in the city i want to build it it's low but in other cities it's at the top. Now i have a city full of R$ citizen, there nothing else there, just them. But after a while the demand for them got to zero in that city but in all other cities where i don't want them the demand is full. Sorry for stealing your thread, kenko1987. But the questions are similar.

prince_of_sims: 1. Thanks! 2. If i only change the terrain in the water in an built city, where there's no building, nothing will crash? 3. hm.. i though that didnt work, i have memories of trying other tools and they worked in circles even when i had square selected. I'll try again.

three questions. 1.Can i use the terraformer on a region i already has started to play with? for example if i want to extend the region and adds some pixels in the config, can i then open the map in SC4 Terraformer and fix the terrain there? 2. I build the map on an island so there's no land that just goes straight out in simland and i have plans to add a new island to the region but to do that i need to add a small land strip for a bridge at the edge of a city i has build in. 3. Is there a tool like the harbour tool but that i can set how high the land will be? with the harbour tool i get it 0.5m over sealevel but i want it somewhere around 100m. Why won't my R$$$ city develop?<br />I have zoned some 3x3 lowdensity zones in a city where the rich have no taxes at all and the other classes have the highest. I want it to be a clean $$$ city. But the zones never developes and i can't figure out why.<br />I have a private school, a library, a police station, a clinic and a fire station who's covering the zones.<br />There is demand so that's not the problem.<br />It is the first high wealth zones in the whole region and it usually is hard to get the first inhabits of any class. But for low and medium wealth i have learned how to do, high wealth is harder.

I meant a city tile with only R$$$. I described it wrong, sorry. btw, i got them developed after a while.

Must i build farms in my city?<br />I don't want to have farms and want to fill the industry gap with regular industries only. Because i can't find any places for farms.<br />Can i ignore the demand for farms or will that ruin the city?<br /><br />I have no job zone now and i think that's because i don't have enough jobs this time because i have made so that the sims can travel almost infinite long. I have much industry zoned but it will not develop. There are no demand for regular industries only a big demand for farms. Must i build farms to fill that gap?

The "Aothe Massive Hydroponic Farm by aothe" plugin didn't work at all. I've built four of them in a city without anything else (except for road-connections). Even with 4x10.000 jobs the demand for farms is at maximum and i don't think that's because i need more of them because it has sunken so that around 4-5.000 of them is lost or how i can explain that. Let's say they don't have all employs that they can have. With taxes: I'm a cheater so i don't worry about money so i always set the taxes to 0 for the things i want in a city and 20 to the rest.
