What about the Liverpool Catholic Cathedral? The Radio City Tower (St. John's Beacon): Or even the Albert Dock: All of these are great Liverpool Landmarks, and I can even see the Radio City tower from where I live, in Caldy, miles away. Sure most of it's ugly (brutalist?) 80's architecture, but they're still local landmarks!

I thought it was time for a bit of BF2 discussion, and while I'm aware that there's a few other threads on it, they're not to do with the gameplay specifically (eg, Ranking thread, price, etc). My name on BF2 is FosterKevin (FosterK was taken!), and you can sometimes catch me on ranked servers with 24/7 and City in the name. My favourite maps are Strike at Karkand, Mashtuur City and Sharqi Peninsula, and I personally think that EA should make more city maps. I'd actually go for the Anti-tank kit myself. Can't remember the name of it, but I've heard it called street-sweeper. Basically a rapid fire, ride damage cone shotgun. And it rocks. Playing with it, you forget you've got a rocket launcher at times! Much better than that piddly MP5. I'd say the only unlocks worth having are the Anti Tank's Street-Sweeper, the Medic's SA80, and the Special Forces G36C (actually makes a decent substitute for the sniper!). I wouldn't touch the Engineer, Sniper, Assault or support if I were you, as they offer no real avdantage over their lower kits.

I'd rather save up and build a killer PC than buy a console. On a PC, there's far more games, online gaming is better than Xbox Live, you can upgrade it so the graphics look better. With a console, even these new ones, there are limits to what it can do, no matter how big these limits, they'll be met, I guarantee, and then people will say Make a new console, and I'll be sitting there smugly with my upgradeable PC. Consoles are overpriced, too, as you've probably noticed (Xbox hard disk, anyone?). Plus, with a PC, you can use it for school, work, music, chatting and many other things a console can't offer. And for all those die-hard enthusiasts, I request one thing: Before you buy your console, wait six weeks, and if you still want it after the six weeks, buy it, there's no point buying something if you don't really want it, after all, is there?
