What do you want in Cities: Skylines?
Sap59 replied to AidanA28's topic in Cities: Skylines General Discussion
One thing I do know is this has been brought up bunches on the official forums and I think it's something most of us would like to see officially. Unofficially there is a mod that allows zoning for pathways, so even if a person doesn't use it for zoning they could at least use it to build parks. I'm hoping it's possible to fix the thumbnail issue with custom content. I don't have a lot of custom buildings but most have no thumbnails and it's becoming a huge pain to try to find what I'm looking for. thanks, I'll have to look for that mod. I agree with the lack of thumbnails.- 307 Replies

What do you want in Cities: Skylines?
Sap59 replied to AidanA28's topic in Cities: Skylines General Discussion
if it hasn't already been mentioned I would like to see parks and playgrounds that not only connect to roads but also connect to pathways as well.- 307 Replies

Just bought the game: What were Your first impressions?
Sap59 replied to data7's topic in Cities: Skylines General Discussion
I'm having to update my video card so hopefully by next weekend I'll be ready to purchase and play, I'm stoked especially after reading such positive reviews from the city building communities. Congratulations Paradox and Colossal Order on what seems to be the best city building game since SC4. -

So... now that Cities XXL has been announced....
Sap59 replied to Akeem J Lenoir's topic in Cities: Skylines General Discussion
it's getting to the point where pre-ordering city building games (or any games for that matter) isn't worth it any more. I'm glad I waited to see the reviews on Cities XXL. I'm happy to see Cities Skylines keeping their game open to modding and communicating with the base through developers blogs. I feel much more positive with them and am happy for what I see, it's much more of what I'm looking for in a city builder. -
Cities: Skylines Announced (Release date 10th March)
Sap59 replied to Mav12's topic in Cities: Skylines General Discussion
So far I'm very impressed in what I have seen so far, perhaps there is hope for another true city building game again after all. It's great to see them listening to city builder fans and not go off in some other direction. I'm excited and hopeful at this point with Paradox.- 165 Replies

Discussion about Always-On Connection to Origin
Sap59 replied to neurokirurgi's topic in SimCity (2013) General Discussion
Once you buy the full version of the game, the only extra costs are for optional DLC, expansions, etc. No mandatory costs. Thank you for responding nhgriffith, That was the deal breaker for me to whether I was going to purchase it or not, I still want to wait until I hear some of the reviews after the games release but at least I'm about 90% positive that I will be buying it. -
Discussion about Always-On Connection to Origin
Sap59 replied to neurokirurgi's topic in SimCity (2013) General Discussion
Just curious.. Has anything ever been announced by EA or Maxis about any extra costs outside the purchase of the game itself to play multiplayer online ?
