  2. Sunscape City

Wow, lol... was not expecting that. Hope your sims can rebuild alright with just the tattered remains of your city. By the way, Are you sure this is your first time on SC4? You play better than me and i've had it since it was released! Can't wait for the next update

I should have known that. Theres a factory a few miles from my house that gives off a lot of sulphur fumes. I just though, you know, black smog would make a change.

Love your style PlutonianEmpire, lots of dirty Industry! Oooh, gotta love that smog. Wonder if somebody could change the colour of the smog from Yellow to black or grey... be abit more realistic imho. Or at least direct me to it if the mod already exists :s
  5. Red Suspension bridge

Never had this problem... or at least never noticed it. Strange.
  6. The best Capital City

Think i'd have to go with Edinburgh in all its volcanic glory, its only got a population of 450,000 people but its a fantastic city I've been to London and Dublin and the architecture in those cities isn't exactly the greatest. Plus, London is faaar too big, even though there are some Skyscrapers, the skyline isn't brilliant. Dublins alright, the River Liffey goes right through the centre and the General Post Office is a magnificant building... plus they built a giant Needle thing for some reason... but thats about it. Edinburgh's centre is friggin wierd... i've noticed, because of the radical height changes in the land, most roads in the centre of the city are built half way up the buildings, leaving smaller roads to weave under the bridges and its probably the only Capital city on the planet wich has a castle dominating the skyline. The architecture is beautiful, with the castle, the Scott monument, Calton Hill, Holyrood Palace, St. Giles Cathedral and that stupid Dynamic Earth museum, its a mix of the new, the old and the extremley old. you can see it all by climbing up Arthurs Seat, a huge craggy hill that Edinburgh is built around. Its also a world heritage site, along with places like Venice, Rome and the Statue of Liberty. Peh, my rambling over but im sure some of you, at least one person will agree... lol
  7. what is going on?

Try terraforming to the same level by using individual bits of road.
  8. Show us your Downtown!

Thanks Cameron. I've been abit fussy over that plot, I always build double there. First it was twin Banks of America, then Twin John Han***** centres... I decided it was a better place for one or two of the amazing BATs I downloaded. And , yeah, sorry. It was Monorail, yeah. I couldn't remember wich it was i built there because its been so long since I played that city (no more building space, see).
  9. Show us your most unique and creative transportation network!

    Wow, nicley thought out scrap!
  10. Show us your Downtown!

I love seeing the cities at night, definitley the best time to take a beautiful picture. Shame about this picture of Serbiadon, the second but most thought out of my 2 main metropolitain areas. I'd liked to have shared a night picture of the city but theres no point, these large buildings have no nightlights... also, you may notice the El-Rail... I downloaded the beta Highspeed rail set and for some reason my old El-Rail changed into Highspeed rail so the intersections look weird. Still works though so i'm not too bothered
  11. Show us your most unique and creative transportation network!

Wow, those are some seroius mindblowing layouts! -edit- This isn't spectaular but it is the most 'transporty' layout i have in my region. The city of Bently is a passage-way between my two major cities Moskau and Serbiadon; it has the most motorways of all my cities... wich isn't much, about 5 or 6. This is the the only part iv'e not built on... partially because theres very limited space.
  12. Manchester

Love the bad weather effects, very nice touch
  13. *restructuring* Condos and Surprises!

Fantastic work, in surprised how well they blend into residential area's. Im sure they'd look great as commercial buildings too.
  14. Anduin Valley Revisited

Wow... I was flicking through this CJ up till about page 17 when i relised there was 116 pages... i can't say much apart from this whole this is utterly astounding. The way you build your cities is done with so much poise and precision, its truley masterful how you terraform the land to suit your needs, so it can look more realistic... the roads, rail and highways follow the lay of the land, unlike my own wich l try to make more realistic by shoving in random curves and diagonal stretches. Love the presentation, love the cities, love the depth and detail and effort that goes into this stuff. Absolutley wonderful stuff
