One of the ways I like to play the game is to take a huge city tile. In the tile I actually build several cities, that way I can link them with freeways and subways and I can actually see the cars going between them.

I think we should give people a bit of a break, and maybe be a little more kind. Remember everyone here is doing all this for free, and only because they want to do it. And if you feel you must express your negative opinion of something, you can always do it in a nice way. There is never a need to be mean. That is all that was claimed, and if the lot works, this person delivered exactly what they said.

If you read this person's description you will see that they are not claiming to have created a new building, or anything super thrilling, what they did was provided a skyscraper that will grow as easy as the taco stand, so that smaller cities can have large buildings. Just so you know the building that downloads is the tall building on the right side of the game screenshot. I downloaded it, and looked at it in lot editor.

Well I have been debating whether I wanted to respond to this or not. 1. I didn't know I could edit a posting, I've only done it twice. 2. I was leaving that morning for Montreal, and would not be back until today, so with only 6 hours sleep, and needing to get to the airport to catch my flight, I spent time I didn't have to upload the config file so that if anyone wanted to use these maps they would have the config file. Seriously have any of you heard of manors?

Here is another map I made. I tend to like non-organic maps, very geometrical. What I really like doing with maps like this one is connecting the higher elevations by bridges, so the bridge spans over land and not water. Also once I create a city, I like using the land editor in mayor mode to carve out litle nitches in the cliffs and making look out post and small subdivision. I'm also very bad with comming up with names, most of my cities are named after friends, or my spouse. I hope you enjoy. Hello Everyone, This is my first upload, second attempt, but if successful this will be the first. I am trying to develop several skills (map making, and batting) I would very much like to be able to contribute to this community, so I’m hoping this will not be my last upload. I have a lot to learn, I am starting to feel comfortable with mapping. I’m still in the dark with creating custom lots, and way behind on creating my own custom buildings, but I’m working on it. I hope people find this interesting, I wanted to have a landscape that is totally man-made looking, for a very high density region. I didn’t want any of the land and water to look natural. Thank you all Fulmer ps for some reasion I can't seem to upload the config.bmp file. I will upload this when I get a chance
