World Surf League, Round 5, Wrap up: The Winners and Headliners of Lords of the Board Festival

In a perfect weekend, after a week of perfect waves and surfing weather, Finals Day and Day 2 of the Lords of the Board Festival made Sunday June 3rd the perfect ending of the The Ripcurl Pro Caravella Classic 2018.
First of all: The winners!
The 2018 Ripcurl Pro Caravella Classic has turned the both the 2018 Men's Championship Tour and the 2018 Women's Championship Tour upside down with 2 new overall leaders emerging after victories on Plage Le Soleil in Port de Caravella.
2018 Ripcurl Pro Caravella Classic: Women's Final: Tyler Wright (AUS) vs. Lakey Peterson (USA)
In a epic battle between the Aussie outsider and US Lakey Peterson it was very close, but the final ditch effort of Wright to steal the win from Peterson was not enough. The 2018 Caravella Classic Women's Champion is Lakey Peterson (USA) and with this victory she is also the new overall number 1 in the Jeep 2018 Women's Championship leaderboard.
