hVnGwZg.jpgAnother of those almost-medium-density homes. It is very detailed. I'm not sure if this one should be medium or high wealth.

  • Construction date (1800 – 2100): -
  • Continent or Region: USA and Europe
  • Architecture Style (if known): Got a compemporary modern feel, but the roof gives me a spanish vibe :P

5) Suggestions for improvement:

I went with $$$ and 2 households as each floor is about 200 m2 and the ground floor seems to be garage/shared space. It also looks pretty fancy.

As for improvements it could use a more interesting illumination map, but otherwise I think it's very nice.

Don't get me wrong, I like this apartment too. This is one building in Cities: Skylines I would enjoy living in (especially if it had a view the Mediterranean, the Caribbean, the Gulf of Mexico, or the Gulf of California). This building on a 2x2 lot with your alterations (and perhaps increased grunge) makes this appear solidly middle class with 3 families. It would require vast & luxurious grounds, a pool, a detached garage, and clean/crack-free stucco (not whitewashed bricks) to look upper class.

It could be medium wealth too - the question is where we draw the line between the two . I can't see how you'd fit 3 families in there though. Ground floor is not living space (windows, garage door and 3 doors makes it feel like a raised basement basicly).

The current textures look solidly middle class and there are 3 people doors. Wealthy people do not have dirty whitewashed bricks or cracked concrete and would have a nice garden or plaza with that architecture. If the building was retextured with good and clean stucco and actual terracotta tiles (instead of pseudo-tile corrugated metal roof), and given a proper upper-class yard (on a 2x4 or 3x3 lot) and fancy props, it would become a wealthy duplex.

I presumed the lowest apartment would have the most floor space (taking up the ground floor and the basement) and have its own garage but have few sources of natural light. My ideal of medium density preferring a mixture of 50% singles and 50% families further cements my opinion of this being a 3-unit complex.
