Pure SC3KU | Naturally grown Cities that I still have...
I see that there aren't many people that still play the more classic SimCity games - such as 3000 unlimited XD
I've had the game for about 10 years now and still play it on several occassions. I've made a couple of decent cities since management in many aspects of the game is easier than SimCity 4
Here are some of my cities that I still play today:
SANTE MARCO ~
This city in particular is failing. Bad budget, population in exodus. And I can't seem to recover it
It didn't last very long.

Sylvia ~ One of my favorite SC3KU cities
I'd been playing this in-game for about 300 years!

City Overview

Old Sylvia City - Downtown area...This the exact spot I built the first part of the city. That avenue and intersection
at the left bottom corner has been there for a while now
Went from Residential to a Commercial center.

Golf course, City University and municipal business hub near large city park.

Across the lake, low density housing.
Then the downtown center of East Sylvia.

Military base and majority high-tech industry with patches of low tech.

And low-tech industry with patches of high-tech.

Edge of the city.
Melville ~ Island City XD

CITY. I wasn't big on funding this city I guess
Such a simoleon hog.

Roads were congested

Another part of the island.

Bridges were used frequently.

The Island was mostly developed for the most part.
Shiba ~ Another favorite of mine
Been playing this city in-game for 223 years! ![]()

On the cross roads of making money, and losing
It could change pretty easily from in the green to in the red.

Newest Shiba Business Park - Land value in this area is at Some Astronomical - Very High - High.

Construction of one of those "special Commercial towers"

Downtown Shiba - Most of the central well-built up area which I focused on has Astronmical land value.
On the edges, are either Very High, High or Medium. The defintions are pretty easy to distinguish which is Med, High, VH or AS.

Mansions and Manors to the right, and low to high wealth apartments to the left. University is at the top ![]()

This is Shiba's financial district. Unlike it's older counterpart, Downtown Shiba, it's focused solely on Finance & Corporate business and has few, boutique stores in the area. The value of the land here is almost all Astronomical and Very High. Beyond this concentration of Astronomical land value is VH, High and Medium.

I tried to develop a nice waterfront but it hasn't worked so far ![]()

Shiba City port

Old Shiba. This was intially downtown, but it wasn't as successful as the Downtown Shiba (not the financial district) in this you can see City Hall, The Courthouse, Winter Wonderland and the city's oldest hospital ![]()

City overview, Shiba to the west. - (Financial district is a little more to the west)

City Overview, Shiba to the East.
And finally, Landenburg ~ This city's finances turned from green to red - It's going downhill and a recovery of the city's economy is progressing sloooooowly. 100 years of in-game gameplay. This city is growing at snails pace compared to Sylvia and Shiba.

Ick.

That is all ![]()
