Cape Caravella: French Quarter

Cape Caravella (population 220.000)

Founded in 1788 by the French explorer Louis-Antoine de Bougainville makes Cape Caravella (or Cap d'Caravella) the oldest city on Îles d'Caravella. Today, Cape Caravella is a popular international tourist destination, renowned for its mild climate, eclectic mix of old and modern architecture and the most famous locations of Îles d'Caravella, including the French Quarter, Le Museé National, the Presidential Palace, Southport and the beaches of West Point.

Most visitors are planning their stay in or around the French Quarter, the old town of Cape Caravella. This historic centre is the home of many charismatic buildings from the late 1800's and early 1900's. Amongst those buildings are Le Museé National, the Quatre Saisons shopping mall, the International Food court and the Presidential Palace. The French Quarter is a great mixture of small local shops, pubs and restaurants, most of them located around the old harbour. At the old harbour you can also find the replica of the French trading vessel 'Toulon' which Louis-Antoine de Bougainville used to discover Îles d'Caravella.

"Hey, how'd they get that galleon that far into the harbor?"

"Very carefully."

"Oh! Bazing!"

Seriously though, beautiful town! 5/5!
