Today's update will be about the City of Arlington and its surrounding suburbs. Arlington is located about an hour and half away from Auburn. Arlington is a very affluent city because the city has its own downtown, sports stadium, college, and an excellent mass transit system! Arlington residents make a median income of $160,000. Welcome!

Riverhead is located about 20 minutes north of Arlington and has a population of 3800. Riverhead is home to a small number of gangs and thugs. Each side of Riverhead has its own gang making Riverhead dangerous at night. Local police cannot control the gang problem. Residents are looking to political leaders for help but those pesky politicans are secretly for gang activity due to the fact that they get a bribe every week to keep out of gang activity.

riverheadbridge.jpg

North Riverhead and South Riverhead are connected by the 2PAC Memorial Bridge. Ofen at night each gang will dump a body into the St. Christopher River. You don't want to be a passerbyer when a event like this happens. No sirrebob! Riverhead General serves the residents of this small town and is often busy treating gun shot wounds.

Soccer is popular in Riverhead. Each side has its own Little League soccer team. Games can sometimes get very out of hand and parents often get involved. As you can see Riverhead is a very divided community.

Located about 15 minutes from Downtown Arlington is the small town of Aspengrove. Aspengrove is located on Arlington Island and has a population of 3,900.

The central part of Aspengrove. The park in front of City Hall is used as a recreation area for families and buisnesspeople during the day. Other times it becomes a meeting place for the whole community and is often used for political rallies.

The regional rail system passes thru Aspengrove connecting the town to the rest of the county.

About 30 minites North-East of Arlington is the town of Ravenswood. Ravenswood has around 12,500 people living in the city limits. Ravenswood is know for its canal that runs thru the city. Welcome to Ravenswood!

The canal that cuts the town in half:

Raveswood is also connected by the regional rail line.

Trains pass the allyways of Ravenswood. Allyways along the tracks are an uncommon feature in Ravenswood. You can often see people in their ally washing their car, neighbors talking to each other and weekly BBQ's on a sunday afternoon. The residents of Laval Street are very proud of their ally!

Ravenswood has very nice neighborhoods...

Arlington Point is the poorer section of Arlington. Wealthy residents of Arlington want nothing to do with Arlington Point unfortunetly its a part of their city that they are ashamed of.

Finally! We have now come to the City of Arlington! Arlington is home to 50,000+ residents. now you may ask why there is a downtown as big as this for a city of only 50,000. Well as mentioned above, median income is $160,000 making it a very rich city. Arlington has its own college, art gallery, transportation, and even its own airport!

John Burnell was an Arlington cop when he was killed outside his home by the Falcotti Family. He was the cop that arrested the head of the Falcotti Family when Arlington was a terrible place to live. The city decided to name the clock tower in his name. Since then numberous citizens and politicans have stood up against crime in Arlington. Improvements have made this city extremely rich!

Finally, Mayor Justin Burch's house. The milti-million dallar mansion sits on the water and overlooks the city. Mayor Burch can be seen playing with his five kids, in the garden or swiming in the pool. The Mayor makes around $350,000 a year drives a Mecerdes Benz S-Class AMG and sends his kids to the best private school in the city. He is truly living the dream! Mercedes-Benz S65 AMG. Nice car!

Wonderful pictures! It's always interesting to read about what life is actually like in the towns. Large green areas in a city are always a welcome sight as well. 5/5!

Greekman, this is great stuff. I am a particular fan of good commentary that goes with nice pics. Two thoughts:

1) The real-ife Government of Greece should probably hire you to help dig out of its current economic shambles.

2) Should a playground really be located next to the railroad tracks? Maybe I just didn't see the fence. :)

I love the city, although i think the city should have an exit made just for the city center. :)

Wow! Once again, you hit it out of the park! 40 awesome pictures of a great region! :thumb: As always, I love the way you sculpt your cities and the thoughtful descriptions for your images. You've picked some great buildings and mods, and the cities are all very realistic and inviting to look at. I especially like the way you've managed your highways and railways. It's neat to see how you've designed the major roads to be easily accessible but surrounded by green and "noise reducers," and how you've integrated the trams/light rail in your cities. Church Street looked pretty cool, too! :golly:

Also, I have to ask - is the John Burnell in Arlington named after that guy who narrates "World's Wildest Police Videos"? ;)
