oh my god, this is so hard, so depressing I was horryfied seeing all the footage,
All these people, innocent, swept away.. like that, and nothing angers me more when fools without a soul go on wikipedia and blames it on Godzilla.
But I will pray, for your friends, family and the whole of Japan..
I know life in Japan isn't easy, so stressful at times, and now that...
I will pray and I send my wishes to all of you and the whole of japan, you can do it

I hope that all of your loved ones are ok. Having had family affected by the recent earthquake in Christchurch, New Zealand I know it is tough worrying from a distance.

I was able to contact all family members and friends in Japan via email or Skype.

Most of my friends were able to do the same.

God bless those people sending aid.

I know the last two days have been some of the darkest hours for many of us.

We saw devastation beyond our imagination, people's homes swept away, black smoke and massive fires, and the faces of those just realizing what had happened, and the cries for help from those still stranded.

But we have also seen the best in all of us.

We have seen people from around the globe, asking, "What can we do to help?" We have seen rescue workers from China, South Korea, America, and Germany, and many more arrive from around the world. We have seen people sending their deepest condolences and donations to those ravaged by the earthquake.

But let us be reminded, that none of us are impervious to disaster. Let us be reminded that this could have happened to any of us, any where, and at any time. Let us be reminded of the virtues of being prepared.

And let us also be reminded, or rather reassured, that people, no matter where they are, no matter what their differences may be, are always willing to help. Let us be reminded that it is human nature to help those in need.

I thank all of you for your prayers and condolences, and I thank all of you who have sent aid and are working around the clock to send help.

Thank you all.
