Sentier Trail

The Sentier (sin-tear) Trail, is a trailway and park formed from an old freight rail route which ran north-south from Lake Marseilles to The Eloisiana River. The railroad was completely removed from New Marseilles to make way for residential and commercial districts in the city's fourth ward. Today the park is symbolic of that once existing railroad and serves as a recreational and explorational park in the city's (Central-Eas) section. The park's main entrance is located at Sentier Rd.
