I saw the picture before the description and I immediately thought "Hmmmm - dried up seaport..... looks like the Aral...."

Since I live in Hamburg, it was obvious that I want to build a harbor.
Since I now have time as a volunteer, it was also allowed to be something bigger...... ;-)

It's NOT the Port of Hamburg but it's heavily inspired ....

The whole thing was created on a flatland landscape, completely without water.
Although was a miserable fumbling, only to work with the channel system but I think it was worth it.
Now come a few fine works ..........

Somewhere in Africa.
On the left you can see the harbor where the legions are shipped.
In the middle the docks for goods and grain.

     Lots of big seaports here! Let's change that with an itty-bitty seaport, namely the liquefied natural gas terminal of the Punta Samaná power plant!     

 

The coastal lagoons in the Kingdom of Borike are plentiful and often deep, this one was modified with a shipping canal carved across a sand bar, and reaching the singular wharf for tankers, and a small pier for the tugboats.

 

 

To protect the beaches from the wakes (the waves left by passing vessels) of the LNG tankers entering and exiting the lagoon, these sea walls were set up to deflect these.
