well this is what I have been working on

It is called BankOne Center (fictional) and it's inspired by the Two Union Square located in Seattle, Washington.

I would like to start a new project and it going to be called "The American Subub" That mean that in hthe next day I will be working BATing American houses, stores, and more.

mmm I have a question about mega lots. What if you have a building that is bigger than 6x6 and if you want to put that building on a growable lot (you know, the max is 6x6) So my question is, how do you make a growable lot bigger than 6x6?

BarbyW uploaded the tutorial that describes this (easy) process to the STEX, it's called "The STEX Goddess reveals all".

However, the important steps can be told in a few lines:

1. Open a Maxis lot of the corresponding category (e.g. CS$$), save as it is under a new name.

2. Open the lot file with iLive's Reader.

3. Find the property called "LotConfigPropertySize" and change the two values behind (e.g. 0x04,0x03 for a 4x3 lot) to the footprint you want - for an 8 by 7 lot that would be 0x08,0x07.

4. Save & exit.

That's it. The next time you open the lot, it will be 8 by 7 or whatever you entered. Now you can place your BAT on it instead of the default building.

Make sure you get the size right because as soon as you attempt to enter a different number in the LE, the lot will jump back to 6x6.

just curious, what type? as for stuff built pre-1950, the maxis houses pretty much cover that. Dusktrooper's mcmansions and SG's RLS homes cover the big 2 story houses.

maybe you'd consider some large 1960-1990 era ranch houses?

Anyways, you guys are really making lots of stuff. its pretty amazing.

Aack!!!  I hate American suburbia (especially subdivisions) with every fiber of my being!  That being said, it's a necessary evil when going for realism.... and it doesn't get much better than this.  Really good job on all the big box stores, Marcos!  I look forward to seeing how the houses turn out.

Wonderful horrible sprawl. The buildings are all different from each other but they're all the same. It fits American suburbia perfectly. Keep up the good work  

Oh and Spike, there is Tim Hortons available already on the STEX if you're looking for one. Just search for Tim Hortons, it'll be the first entry.

Thanks for considering creating this BAT for me MarcosMX, I really appreciate it, since they are so popular here in Canada, there is basically one at every corner, I wouldn't be suprised if you'll gain some popularity amung our Canadian folk here
