What a great region that is ; Ring of Fire Greate Terran region ! Lots of space for expansion, a trully single lifespan playable region, varity, grid only downside. Little region quickly run out of space, start a new region in the  same instalation, and as here done transfer these into a greater region wich happened with my mayon region once, no furthur will as insparation fades, I only look for these regions if agricultural farming is wished ! Great work, unriviled in qualtiy and scale !

Although this happened in a test city, I still consider it to be an accomplishment and an interesting experiment.

It seems that creating a job-starved city can actually pay off big time. All you have to do is to provide jobs in neighboring towns, develop fast public transport and mess up roads just enough that Sims decide they no longer enjoy driving on their own.

I did all that and once the conditions were met, I registered record ridership numbers which translated into a huge public transport revenue. It was, in fact, so big that it fully covered the costs of public safety, utilities and beautification departments combined and was even higher than the tax revenue obtained from the residential sector.

This city earns most of its money through 11000 commuters using railway system and another 7000 travelling by busses on the other edge of the town.

The "SimCity 4" vanilla Opera House is the most evil thing in existence. Avoid.

Well after 20 years, I hit 50 million in my region. I'd say that's a huge accomplishment

Great capital city, neighbour's maxis get overhaul ? With S curve  or FAR less rigorous transition or do it in the neighbour's town ! What a selection of sky scra0er, not a skyscraper expert o4 any photo graphic memory real hard to build anything like it Practical you need to create a random city to have a sam0le around !

Automated Notice Message

All posts after 1 March, 2026 @ 01:37 GMT were lost in the site crash.

We've added this message thread divider in every topic across all forums for what were then active threads. (We decided active is if the most recent extant post (from the backup) was on or after 1 January, 2026.)

This divider serves as notice that the conversation was interrupted. Answers and further discussion which used to be here have been lost. Keep this in mind when replying. Our hope is to rebuild what is missing.

I am Lab Rat.

It's sort of a derivative accomplishment but an interesting one actually.

Flag counter reported that my latest CJ entry was visited by someone based in Seychelles. That's the most exotic country I collected so far. :8) Any of you guys spending holiday there? *
