You won't believe what happened to me!!!

I was walking the streets of my SimCity today, when I came to the block next to the Central Library. 

And what did I see there?!? 

Oh my gosh! 

A mysterious massive building had appeared there, aparently an arena, advertsing a Madonna concert! 

They must have put the building there in only a few days, I swear it wasn't there 3 days ago! 

It must be one of these buildings-appearing happenings that I heard some people sighting in our Sim world!

If that wasn't exciting enough I saw billboards featuring the Sunset Burj Boulevard motion picture and the brand new Burj Dubai Ice on it!

Now that's more than I can stand, really!

I'm still in awestruck.shock!

It is mine actually and it has been under construction for 3 days.

Having achieved the completion of the modeling of my Burj, I took a bit time off to have a little snack along the way ;-)

The stadium is Madison Square Garden, New York City, the "world's most famous arena". The BAT is yet to be finished but the pace is high and if you are lucky I can upload it before I am off for holiday on sunday :-)

Celebrating the excitement of the Madonna tour summer inspired me to do this BAT. Please expect a Madonna Confessions Tour Edition as well as requestable custom versions. More information on that will be available once released.

And remember, this is only one area of Dubai where they are building like crazy...

Regarding the arena, sorry, won't make it to a release before my holiday. The last days are, as usual, very busy with preparing and stuff.

Dubai is starting to look like Coruscant from Star Wars. With all the construction of buildings, a lot of people believe that supply outweighs demand for those units, and that Dubai is just hoping for a "If you build it, they will come" foundation. However, people all over the world are investing into these estates, which are selling out by the days.

@JDRCRASH: Well, I forgot about Hong Kong actually! Ok, let's say then Dubai is heading for number 3, hehe. I personally like more designs in Dubai though. Matter of taste it is.

@yoder7652: Nightlites of the MSG have not been done yet, but the will feature spotlights on the sides like in real if you've seen them.

@mambomumba: Yeah, New York is definitely much more natural, I mean it all grew step by step. Dubai is being built up from scratch, you know what I mean. Matter of taste I guess. I like both. Will be interesting to see how it feels to walk the streets of that planned city there when I will go to visit Dubai around 2010 (not before Al Burj is built, hehe)

@Cypherus21: Yes, looks similar to Corsucant a bit! That's what I love so much about the Burj Dubai itself, it looks sooo future. And the last masterplan of Dubai makes me just feel "Hey-Yah, the future is NOW!!"

@spa: Thank you! I actually learned veery much about texturing with the MSG! I actually used the real picture of it extracted from GoogleEarth, so the roof is how it REALLY looks like in real life, hehe!! So-Much-Fun!!!

I know this is probably late, but here is a ariel pic of MSG at night. As you can kindof see, there is a blue ring that goes around the top of the arena at night. The model looks awsome though, this would just make the night lighting a little truer.

Ok, it is time to get some feedback on the tower before I approach the challenge of rendering it.

Please note that the details in form of chairs on the roofs will still be added. There are some test chairs in the middle of the tower on two roofs.
