My Metropolis

This is my third CJ in a long time. This City's name is simply Metropolis. It is my largest city with over 315,000 sims. It has about a business population of 500,000 and an Industry Population of about 17,000 The Terrain is simple and flat with a river rinning through the east side separating the City and the Industreal Center.

This city has gotten me many rare buildings I've never gotten in my 1 million sim region including, Van Prooijen Trading, Ong Condos, The Chandler, McCellan Inc, Fisk Insurance, Waco Co, Bryall Tower, Cahalane Communications, The Wilkinson, Martin Apartments and a few more.

The City is probably 75 to 80% Developed its about 600 sim years old. I used the Super Money Park and Super Demand for Cheats.

Here are some night picture previews. They where editied with Photoshop.

I like where you tunneled the ground highway so there's some connectivity between both halves of downtown. Great work. 4.gif

    Thanks

Well all I did with the pictures in photoshop is resize them brighten them and make them more contrast that make it very sharp.

I was working on a new shorline for my downtown but hardly anything grew so I plopped a few buildings it looked great.

I moved the university more to the west and replaced the old site with a residential complex which was supposed to be rich and luxurious but all that built was five of the same middle class apartment towers. I plopped one for a total of six apartment towers.

Both projects brang my population to around 366,000 but while saving it my computer froze AS USUAL so both where erased. Hopefully when build the complex again nicer buildings will be built.

I got a shot of the complex under construction

Great start, the city looks fantastic, very colourful downtown area.

The nightlights look great, and the day-time shot looks very pretty. I will keep two eyes on this CJ.

    Cheers.

    Thanks 4.gif

Well I started those two project again and saved them, plus they came out better. The Apartment Complex built European Middle Class Towers than those ugly Houston Styled Apartment Towers, I was hoping for $$$ towers and to have a variaty, but it came out the same but with Euro Buildings
    img87/8833/00014vv.jpg

The coastline project came out very nicely, before my computer froze earlier the project didnt come out so well. Only a Wallace and Simon Manor Grew, that was it. A very nice $$$ Tower grew in the south coastline project, I forgot its name. So this time all the spaces where filled and I didnt need to plop any buildings.

Completed pictures of the Apartment and Coastline Project soon. 4.gif

I might download the Radical Ordiance Modd because my $$$ Residential Deamnd is very very low and my $$$ Office Demand isnt very high eatheir. Should I? I already have Super Demand will the Radical Ordinance Mod Change anything?

I was board so I made this "Summit Towers" Ad, the Twin Peak Towers and Ong Condos look great together, I posted a picture of them on my second post on this thread. 4.gif
