Please somebody make the U.S. Bank Tower in L.A. I've been wanting that building for 8 months to created by Maxis as a LM, but they have made it, since the BAT came out I was wondering wether ne of yalls out there would make it. Please Make It!

thats the Bank of America plaza in Tampa, Florida. its the tallest building in Tampa equal to the AmSouth Building which both stand at 176m...i used to work there on the 30th floor for Trial Practices Inc. ....its a nice building..i remember when that small plane hit it...

I have a building request for all those BATmen out there. Probably a lot of you have seen this building in movies or on a very famous police badge: it is the Los Angeles City Hall.

I have attached a couple photos of it. I think the night-shot of the building would look great in SC4.

Any takers on this one?

i know it's not quite a specific request, but i was realizing as i was placing the new bus stops that i could really use a few things - a nuclear power plant that doesn't look like it's pulled from the simpsons would be nice.  some suburban schools would be great to see out of the bat - i think every town in america has a nice generic one that would have to look better than the vanilla school.

 

a bigger prison complex would be nice, or a realistic looking city jail.  i've never seen a holding center that looks like that thing in the game, which appears to be a bit off scale too.

 

i know there's LEX available of generic schools and other lots, but these BAT projects i keep seeing look so good i'd love to see what kinds of small, utilitarian buildings some of you BATters could pull off.

 

and since i always make west coast cities, a Spanish styled mission would rock.  this is the Father Junipero Sierra Museum (also a former church) located in a park in San Diego.  it's not only one of the first European structures on the west coast, but also a very photogenic building.  i can stop by there and take more pictures if needed, there's a bunch on the web also.  it'd be a great addition for those of us who try to make california style cities.

I thought I'd make a request that will educate our sims and provide jobs for them as well.  So many requests for skyscrapers made me sick.  We need a

 

Borders Bookstore

 

Not a huge lot, just maybe 3x3 or 3x4 at the biggest, maybe a two story store for

 residential neighborhoods, a 3 story store for larger urban areas, and a 4-5 story store for our downtowns.  This type of lot can provide education for our sims and also provide jobs.  Someone give it a shot please.

 

One more, how about a UPS?  I am surprised we've been missing a UPS in our cities.  These can improve transportation of goods from our industries and also provide tons of Industrial Jobs for all kinds of wealth levels (loaders, supervisors, managers).

THE New WTC center would make a great addition.  I also wish Detroit's Renaissance Center could be created.  It was in SC3000, but was very unrealistic.  It would be nice to see that in the game.

Something, which I don't know if they have been requested yet but would make great additions to many cities would be some good old midwestern style grain elevators.  Some in good condition, some run down.  I think it would add a nice touch to the industrial shoreline area of many SC4 cities.

 

Also another thing missing are radio/microwave/cellular towers.  Something that's kinda missing from the boonie-areas in SC4.

Why don't ya re-title this the BAT Skyscraper wish list seeing that is what the BAT designers are hooked on.Another good title is Useless Landmarks.I feared that this would happen when Maxis gave the nerds there special little toy.Baco and a few others have produced buildings that are useful and look nice in a city.Skyscrapers are ok once on awhile but please come back to earth.Sorry to offend anyone.

It's a pulp mill! Yay! This on is owned by Bowater, and is one of the largest pulp and paper mills in the world! And, as an added bonus, about a kilomater adius around it usually smells like fart!
