your very welcome! now i have a suggestion: you know SG's suburban office buildings, like Tucson Tower and VersaCorp? get those and expand the downtown skyline. i tried it in my largest city on the outskirts and it looked beautiful. that is all. ooh, ooh, ooh! add sg's Embassy Suites to the western part of the city, on the coast. as i say, that would be bling-blingin', piggy! (piggy is a good thing, means best bud)

Sun Valley Times

Hotel comes to Sun Valley

The Embassy Suites was recently constructed in downtown Sun Valley. The tower is one of the nicest in the area and has already one an award for being the best hotel in Alaska. Owner Bill Green says that Sun Valley is one of his favorite cities and is a great one for a great hotel. He gives special thanks to topcliff and kingofsimcity for giving him the idea to construct the hotel. Here are some airel pictures of the tower.

Other News

Sun Valley and submarines

 

The Navy has anounced that they will make an addon to their base in Sun Valley to accomidate the west coast sub fleat. Constrution is underway right now and one sub has already made it's way to Sun Valley. More can not be held until the base is complete. Here are some pics of the sub in the port.

Amtrak for Sun Valley

 

This week Amtrak anounced that it would be opening it's recently constructed station in Sun Valley. There will be two trains that run through the area daily- the 1:00a.m. and the 4:00p.m. They have also set up the only commuter service in the country with trains going to the port. They also have plans to extend the line to the airport and make a conection between the Sun Valley subway system.

Ooh, I see a Portland building in there (the Nordstrom building). And, I also agree with kingofsimcity and supersimman... you didn't put too much focus on making a dense jungle of skyscrapers.

In other words, you really spent some time with planning (or at least that's what it looks like).

kingofsimcity, supersimman: Thanks for your comments! It was painful not to zone more high density but I'm glad I didn't. I like it better realistic than insanely huge.
