Good heavens what a huge mosaic, a mere 51 MB big..... What a job!

While writing this message the download is at 50%

...it's ready. Great fall mosaic. I can realy zoom very deep in. Looking at Pim's Cinema complex, Jop agricultal container complex and of course the mansion where my family lives. Wonderful memories. Thanks for these great moments, John.

I enjoyed Anduin Valley enormously.

Now it's time for this guy to come to the Netherlands:

Sinterklaas is coming to town, and the kids are working hard on their list for presents.....

Take care John.

John,

That is one impressive pic. My computer can't quite handle the full quality version as I would hope, but the 50% one is still stunning. I would have been around sooner, but law school is picking up just in time for finals. Hope all is well for you. It's strange to tink that christmas is just around the corner already (though Thanksgiving is still on its way too). Seems like I just started school again, and it's already winding up. Hope work and the Christmas season don't keep you from enjoying the season as it should be enjoyed. Since it is Trixie season once again as well, I hope you pick up a few this time around as you did last year (though that shouldn't be too hard given how much you have put into this). If I don;t see you around here too often, I'll certainly keep an eye out for you over at SC4D for the 3RR thing; and once again thanks for sharing AVR with us.

-Matt

Thanks to all for your comments those last weeks, I'm currently working on answering one last time all those comments since page 158....46.gif

Well... that's what I get for being lazy.... hehehe....

Seriously, between work family and music, all free time I had left was devoted to prepare the mosaics.

Thanks for being patient.... the answers should be coming to you as soon as possible.

    Stay tuned.

    -John

Wowzers. That is a huge mosaic. My comp has tried to kill me at least 3 times since opening it. 2.gif I think it's gonna go psychotic any day now. I'll need a sign: "Beware of Attack Computer" ...

    Hey Darmok/John,

I guess it has been a long time ago since I visited Aduin Valley for the last time.

I read you're going to stop with Aduin Valley. I was shocked, this cj has always been (and will always be) a reason for me to play simcity again. But 161 pages full with top-quality pics! Wow! That's a true achievement! I've never reached page 10 with both of my cj's, LOL

Your pictures are still as stunning as they used to be a couple months (or even years) ago. The last region shot doesn't appear to work, though. But that's probably just me.

Thanks for sharing your thousands top-quality pictures with us the past few years,

    Thomas

I've been lurking this CJ for a looong time, never had quite the gut to speak up, but you are very, very inspirational... everytime I look at this CJ i think 'Right, i'm gonna go play the game and try and acheive that too!'... nobody has influence on me quite like that, lol.

And a 1.44GB photoshop file? Thats bordering on Insanity! Hope the Mac holds steady (i've had experiances with Mac's before and they've not been pretty), I'm really looking forward to seeing that Mosaic

Well Thanks for doing it now El Burro, I also took inspiration from a lot of other players.

    (I omitted the song...)

Steppenwolf, here on KLIV 104.3 Classic Rock.  It's 4:30 on a lovely November afternoon, Indian summer continues here in Anôrien, cooler with a chance of showers tomorrow.  The weather held just long enough for the US Navy Blue Angels Air Show.  The Angels were our guests in Anduin Valley, and I'll bet they saw some beautiful views as they flew above our fair land in their Boeing F/A-18 Hornets.  KLIV's own adventurer extraordinaire, and roving reporter, Sam Gamgee, took a ride with the Angels, and only passed out twice due to the g-forces...

Hi, John, it's super fantastic!!  I can see all of Anôrien, and the radio station, just as well as if I was there in the c0ckpit with Sam, and I won't have to worry about passing out!

Yes, I accept, I would love to be involved with the next radio station, I'll be watching for it on SC4D.  Now I'm off to see what else I can recognize.  Til the big region pic, then, here's to greener pastures, on your side of the fence.

    Bye for now.

    --Liv

    -> ANSWER

Liv, I hope you also liked the region pic.

I'm currently on a SC4 break right now, I guess I need it, didn't touched the game since I've posted the regional pic. More into my guitar playing these days.

But somewhere on the great big back burner in the sky, some new ideas are slowly cooking.... just can't help it...

My friend I sure hope all is going well for you these days and I hope to see you at SC4D.

If we don't see each other before christmas I wish you a great holiday period.

    Take care Liv

    -John

P.S. Just loved that bit about Sam Gamgee in a F/A-18 hehehe...

Thank you... I can hardly wait to see what your next project will turn out to be.

Amazing. I was able to view the files on my gaming rig, and all I can say is wow. Just a big wow. It took me a couple of hours to go through it, and my wife was working on a computer nxt to me, and she caught glimpses and she thought it looked amazing.

    Again,

    Thank you.

    Hey John,

The complete version of the region view works fine now, it's really huge 6.gif I don't now why it didn't work earlier.

3RR? The only 3RR I know is Three Rivers Region. I searched On SC4D, but I didn't find anything that you could have meant with 3RR. Would you mind to give me a link? Normally I only visit SC4D for the files, actually.

I mean, I've made plenty a post in this CJ, as it is by far the best one on here....uh...from the time when Jeronij still have columbia River 'n his other one (not sure of the name, anymore). This thing has WELL over a few thousand posts, 'n I'm quite certain that ya missed me there, Darmok. Just FYI. Now keep up the great work 'n spare us nothin' of your progress of Anduin Valley region, hmmm?

I thought it was a lot less for some reason, but it doesn't matter, I love this city journal a lot and it is destined to win a Trixie in the next few hours hopefully. 9.gif Great work with everything Darmok!
