Ok, these pictures were taken a while ago - early December, I believe.

I live in a small town in Ohio, which also happens to be right by I-75, a major north-south interstate, as well as I-70, a major east-west interstate. You might remember some pictures of Joesocworker and I when he stopped by.

During the holidays, one of our moderators, zelgadis, was traveling from Canada to Kentucky, and happened to stop by here.

So, we met in one of Piqua's more exotic restaurants, Arby's.

The first shot was an accidental shot, as I was trying to see if my camera had working batteries. It did.

The second was shot by Zelgadis of myself...

The third was shot by myself at Zelgadis:

And finally, both of us together. This was actually taken in The Home Depot breakroom (where I work) - the orange dollars signs are for some ridiculous thingy they had going on at the time:

It was a lot of fun, and very cool to meet yet another person from Simtropolis. Most of our time was spent talking about city journals (big surprise there), as well as other staff members, and...well, I will just say "former members".

Here's a pic from my trip to Tokyo last week, at the big temple at Asakusa. I'm holding my niece, whom we took to Tokyo in flat form (like in the book Flat Stanley) and photographed at various landmarks as part of her first grade class project.

I don't remember if I posted this one or not, but it was my halloween costume. I bought a real axe from home depot...because really, what's scarier: a guy dressed in a scary ghost costume or a guy carrying around an axe?

Oh, and I also rubbed bread and butter on the blade and coated it in fake blood. Looked a lot like guts...tasted like cinnamon...
