Superb.  I wish I had the patience you have when it comes to building a city.  You have inspired me to approach city building in the same way.  Keep it up!44.gif

    Thanks for the NEW comments!29.gif

The industrial complex was complete. It, of course, looks like another one of those mini-suburbias. Jorge decided to boost both advanced tech and manufacturing industries to help boost export prices.

The downtown sector was completed too...

No, the story takes place in 2034. And plus, the corporations are building it. Not San Bugatta.5.gif2.gif9.gif18.gif

Great update. By 2034, Maxis might have sent out Simcity 5, providing they don't throw it down the drain like they did for SC4. Anyway, just my feelings.

I just found this CJ and read through the whole thing. I usually don't care for CJs with a storyline, but this one is an exception, it is fabulous. However it looks as though the little socialist utopian society is about to meet big business...hmm...sitcom? just kidding, great job though!

this is a really cool CJ, except the transition from Highdensity to low density seems kinda rough dude. Like, you could totally zone medium density around it but then again dude, excellent work!

Another thing is, are you using software rendering? Because that makes the shadows really unpleasant and converting to hardware makes it really hard and it will also scroll and load faster. Just a suggestion and if your computer can't support hardware, i understand. Excellent still dude!

Thanks! Hardware makes it faster?! I always thought it was the other way around...I used to remember a time when my shadows were nice and exact, but I'll change them. Thanks again!44.gif9.gif

I don't like the criticisms on the suddenness of the taller buildings. Random out-of-place things are fun! And besides, you're right about saying that if private interests believe that an area is prime for developing something, and the city allows it, then why not.

Unique and creative. I can't add much to what others have already said. 44.gif

I like the creative new roundabout/plaza downtown....  However where is El Pueblo de Los Perdidos in relationship to anything/everything else. . . .  Or is it so much of a utopia that they are out on their own????   Nice long update!!!!
