Well great update, though I have a little question about STEX. Will the links be Javascript to popup a window only? Because I always used to middle-click (in Firefox) to get the lots/BATs in separate tabs. Now I get a new tab with the adress set to javascript://

Another small thing: A missed "Y" on the left. "Keword Search" <-> "Keyword Search"

EDIT: Nevermind the javascript thing, I've made it work

Hey, the new Stex is up. It looks very nice indeed!

But it has one MAJOR drawback: The links are javascript

So instead of opening 5 buildings in one go, I need to go back everytime and click on the next link.

I hope this changes into normal links in the future.

anandus: If you're using Firefox you could download Tabbrowser Preferences and force the browser to open every java-popup in a new tab. That way the STEX links will all open in their own tab

The search feature doesn't appear to be working, but I'm sure that'll be fixed.  Its great to have it back again, and I look forward to seeing the STEX features trickle back.

The new STEX rocks!  It's got a very clean and polished look.  One question though, does it auto-default to the map section when you go there, or is that in testing?

The upload process looks cool too.  We can import text from MS word!

I've been lurking for a bit and was propelled to join today for a number of reasons. One of those was to say great job and thanks to Dirk and everyone that's helped with the upgrade of ST. I think it looks great, and you're implementing some amazing features for this community. I've noticed a lot of kind, intelligent, friendly and imaginative individuals as I've slipped like the shadow of a hobo from alleyway to alleyway, and I think it's indicative of the generosity and energy that the leadership of this community displays and attracts. So I see dirk has decided to protect the new site PNG graphics, meaning that right clicking and saving as results in a blank as opposed to the actual file.

Meh, no matter. Nothing I haven't seen before. Insanely easy to get around. My hoarding of images that I have no use or need for continues.

Wow ...... I nearly had a heart attack. I like it, it will take a while to get used to and since Im in a library Im not sure whether its Firefox friendly but I love the new organisation. Its definetly going to take a while to get used to but wow. I would go on chat but it appears that its now a Flash thing and these damn computers dont have flash. But ... Im still a bit undecided but its definetly as good as 4.0 not sure whether its better. Oh and whats happening with a homepage. Will there be one or will it just be forums.
