Well, I don't have the BTM, but placing the HSR folder alphabetically after the NAM sure did fix the problem. Thank you 9.gif

For all those who are using HSR Rail Station Pack from Xyloxadoria

I don't know why Transi Exit Switch was set to 2.0 but it is set way too high. When I used them (and HSR) for the first time I had zero usage ecept for neighbout connections wherever I used them. Other station from cogeo or the universal elevated stations from bripizza were not affected.

Then I tore down all of them, set the Transit Entry Switch to 0,1 via SC4Tool, replop them and voila, the network began to flood.

Maybe I could help someone.

Hmm i didnt seem to notice that error. I know why its there though. It seems that when i was leraning to mod, there was some thing somewhere that said transist entry cost was in minnutes, So i put it to 2 thinking thats what it was suppsoed to be. I later figured out that was worng, but by that time it had alredy unknowingly affted two downloads. This one should be fixed now when the STEX decides to update it and im still in the process of fixing my Federation Square Station which also seems to have a similar error.

EDIT: The fixed version is now on the STEX

You might want to check your update, as it's more than eight hours after your post, and it hasn't gone through yet.

The entry cost is in minutes, but the number of minutes is given by the formula .96/(travel type speed). So for a typical monorail network with a speed of 200 kph, the TSEC should be .0048, or just .005 if you want to round it off.

Yeah i changed it to something like that, and im trying to upload it. I left it to upload last night and its still trying to. The STEX seems glithecd as its only a 1.9MB file.

Edit: Its seems like there is a page flip bug so i put this message in my last post as well

The fixed version is now on the STEX

Just came back to SC4 after a little time away... I remember downloading the original beta version of this back in the day! New version looks great. Anyway, I had one problem downloading it.

The ground version is showing pillars for the elevated version over the top of the ground tracks. Anyone know what happened??

Edit:

Whoops, guess I should've read the last few pages first.  1.gif

ishamm, are you using the original HSRP transit hub? If your HSR tracks cross a road directly adjacent to the station, then the station won't generate any traffic in that direction. It is a known bug which is supposedly fixed, but I am encountering it anyway, even though I have downloaded the latest version of the HSRP hub ("refurbished by Andreas") 8.gif

Are you absolutely certain that you don't have a road/street crossing next to the station?

I've had the HSRP for a few months, and I've hardly ever had the need to use it yet, but I'm starting to use it now and I was wondering if you need to download trains for it and if it changes the original monorail trains too

Hi to everyone. :-)

After long time, i decided to use HSR in my cities, but i early found some troubles:

I notice there isn't a diagonal HSR over Ground Highway piece (also Diagonal over Diagonal), plus I can't use HSR bridges. I don't know why, when i drag HSR over a river, the only option i have is the monorail (or BTM) bridge, and nothing else. Where are my problems?

Thanks in advance for the help.

My guess is you shouldn't have BTM and HSR installed at the same time.

Don't remember if any bridges came with the mod, but this pack does contain several.

Both can easily co-exist provided thay are installed correctly.

@Captcity: I've yet installed that pack. This is the problem: i can't see and use them into the game. I'm guessing it's maybe a problem with the Nam Bridge controller, but i'm not sure. Plus i haven't idea how to fix it. :/

its not the bridge controller....

you have one, or all of fukuda's bridges installed. the ones on the STEX, the steel viaduct, the BLaM arch viaduct, and the BLaM millau viaduct, contain a copy of the network .ini file....which causes all other available (and future) bridges to not show up. the only solution is to delete those bridges and download the ones from SC4 devotion, as those versions were modded to work with the NAM bridge controller.

@ch0c0: Ok, thanks. I'm going do try that. I'm sure i've at least one of those bridges installed...

Great work with the new bridges you uploaded today! ;-)

Ok, fixed. I had to remove the steel viaduct, but now everything is working. Thanks again

Is that why there isn't a puzzle piece for GLR?  Every time I drag GLR beneath HSR it turns red and says that I cannot place it on reversed tiles.  I am running the latest version of HSRP.

Yes, that's another piece not included. You could convert to High ElRail and go over HSR...

...or use ElRail over GHSR...

Those pieces do exist.

Ah, thanks so much! Is a GLR puzzle piece in the works? Also, is there a piece that will allow GLR to go directly to High ElRail?

Very strange, I have some cities with a lot of intercity traffic. There are road connections (fastest one is the RHW), and in the past there was a heavy rail connection with some 1500 people using it. I've replaced that connection by HSR, but only 59 sims use it to go to the neighbouring city. You would expect them to use the HSR (as it is faster), but they prefer slower alternatives (car, bus). Why don't they use it and how can I get them on my (very expensive 3.gif) HSR?

Thanks a lot 4.gif

Edit: Aah yes, I had a picture to show what I was talking about, but I forgot it, so here it is:

sc4monorail.jpg

A lot more people use the highway, which is next to it.

Something similar happened to me, I had two HSRP hubs (which have a bus terminal) and a HSR line between them. They were connected by roads/streets as well and my Sims took the bus more than the HSR. I think low-wealth sims have a special bus preference. I don't know if it can be changed in the traffic simulator.

From now on I'll be using the BTM. I replaced the HSR and the HSR stations by their BTM equivalent and now some 850 sims use it.

I have a question, I have the current NAM and RHW and high speed rail and when I drag the high speed rail over the rhw-4 the rhw turns into colored blocks under the HSR. How can this be fixed

Which version of the RHW are you using?  It sounds like whatever files you have installed seem to have the HSR-over-RHW model referencing a texture that doesn't exist in your Plugins.  This issue should not be occuring with the current RHW (Version 4.1).

I believe that issue got fixed when HSRP was updated to Version 2.1 in January 2009.
