Great update MayorTim! I like the forest-strips in your picture of Norwood-East; in real life you always see such kind of things in cities: pieces of forests here and there, small strips of bare land etc. Great work on the suburban looks of this region, I can't say this enough times... great job!

WOW Mayortim I just noticed the Norwood update on the previous page. It looks really good! I like that skyline alot. This is great!! And I also saw in one of your reply posts that your driving permit is at 15! My cousin lives down in Florida and hes 15 and he just got his!!! Here in New York we get ours I think at 16! So I gotta wait two more years

Those Greenwich suburbs are beautiful, very well organised and set out... and the natural flow and decreasing height of the buildings from Downtown to the suburbs, is very well defined.. something i'll be working on to ensure in New Rhodesia..

Hey awesome stuff Tim! I read that comment about you only being 14, very cool. I believe most of the great city builders are in the teen area. I myself am only 16, maybe I'm wrong on this, but I do think a lot of creative builders are in the 13-18 age range. I too am thinking of going into the civil engineer area, not architect, I hear it's extremely difficult and city design would be way better. Keep it up.

Here is a second little teaser, just to keep you all interested. I have made a Navy Base, and I can say that it is THE single most detailed and carefully laid out area in the entire region, and I have taken heavy inspiration for this area from Jeronij. Here are some pictures...

I always like well-crafted military/industrial areas, mainly because it's one of my weak spots. In my opinion it's one of the hardest things to get to look right. Really great detail with yours!

I can't tell you how much I like seeing realistic developpments like the refinery or the new navy base, they're wonderful!
It looks like there is a great deal of attention to detail, and you always seems to have a wonderfuly unique and innovative area/concept for this region. It is because of that I always look forward to another update!

I can't wait to see more of the navy base, and more developpment in Klondike Delta!

oroen: one thing is for sure, it isn't easy to build military bases. Navy ports are among the easiest military facilities to replicate I think, but they are all difficult.
