Great looking naval base there mayortim. That tunnel entrance certainly makes for a refreshing change. 19.gif

Mexicanboy13r: The green algae is from the water flora modd, which has been modded by someone and posted on the forums so that it doesn't make the water clear. It is a really helpful little tool for giving riverside areas a little added beauty.
ephorex_77: Thanks! Yah I decided to change my avatar for the first time since last Halloween, I just couldn't stand that eye anymore.

Nice update and work with the naval lots! My only suggestion would be to space out the softball and soccer fields rather than just plopping them right next to each other. Good use of a trail park or tarmac kit would really add some realism here. Right now you have to wonder how the sims can get to the dugouts.

    Otherwise nice job!

ephorex_77: Thanks! It will be comming tonight, because I have a dentist appointment today. 14.gif
MasterPlanMan: Thanks for the suggestion! I can see what you mean, and it should be easy enough to fix, so I will get right on that the very next time I open that city tile. 1.gif

Aww man... I said I would have this update posted by Saturday... Looks like I am 7 minutes past my deadline! 2.gif

Sorry for updating so late... I had a great time at the dentist 34.gif And the anesthesia finally wore off about an hour ago. Like I said, fun.

Anyway, here is the update. It is another suburb addition on a new city tile, and development in it has only just started.

    p13ae.jpg

Here is the zoning layout of the town.

    p27aq.jpg

This city will also feature cliffside suburbs.

    p30zj.jpg

Row shops like this line the main road, giving the town a classic charm.

    p42un.jpg

I loved the turning lanes included in the latest NAM so much, I took a picture for you guys.

    p58dh.jpg

No self respecting small town in complete without a junkyard!

    p64ol.jpg

Peg finally re-uploaded his cemetary lots, so I decided to add a graveyard to this town.

    pp17ps.jpg

Here is a little touch of realisim. I see clearings like this all the time while riding down a highway, where trees were cut down by the road for lumber.

Thats all for now! Comments welcome and appreciated!

No, I am not at the 1 mill mark yet, but I am closing fast. I currently have 920,000 sims, so I will hit that milestone very soon.

    Thanks for the comment!

just thought i'd pop in here and say what a great job you are doing here, MayorTim...those completed region shots look so realistic, it is rather remarkable (even though some pixilated shots did cause a moment's panic great...i've gone blind!).
    keep up the great work.

That's very realistic. I can't wait to see your commerical district. Looks very promising so far. The freeway through the cut forest is a very nice and touch short story...

    Great work!

    BTW: Thanks2.gif
