defcon:  That sounds more like fluent teenager.

Moose:  Haha, yeah.  I do enjoy poetry, though finishing someone else's work would be hard... 41.gif  Heh, I thought I wrote long - Henry Wadsworth Longfellow's "Evangeline" is the longest piece of poetry I have ever read in my life, stretching out to nearly twenty pages in our literature book.  It was also incredibly boring.

Whoa, that is some banana split.  9.gif  I will enjoy it immensely.

BlondeTwiggy: I've never heard anyone from other states use it. And even if I am wrong, it originated here. Well, a lot of it originated among surfers. But the rest of it came from here. 3.gif

N_O_Body: Wha? "Fer shur"? :\

N_O_Body: Two reasons 1. I have a timer going at all times, I think sleeping will interupt the timer, 2. When it is not doing anything ( as in, it hasn't been five minutes), it hardly effects the computer speed but when it is doing something (checking for the current users on line), anything that uses up a significant amout of CPU will disturb it a possible cause it to become unresponsive. Surfing around on the internet is a bad idea. I don't mind using my mom's computer.

DJR:  You see what a sanitized education you have had.  In my crowd, Jewish Penecillin is chicken soup.  I doubt a Z-pac would be a substitute.  My favorite Jewish mama would be ashamed of you.

DP:  You don't speak ancient Californian, eh?  "Fer shur" is a Valley Girls expression.  By the way, there is one farm around here that has a valley.  We were going by one day and it was full of grazong cows, and I said to my wife "Valley Girls eat grass".  and she nearly drove off the road in a fit of giggles.

Eastwinn:  It depends on just how accurate you really want to be.  Are you making allowances for packet travel, too?

I have a clever little system for keeping things as accurate as possible. It's a bit much to explain though. Currently I don't care too much about accuracy (though I do want to be accurate for the most part) because I want to create a graph that shows the general shape of users online. This is why I will be doing this for multiple days. I purposly started tests at friday night so that my tests are done when most people aren't working. I'll do a five day test on monday through friday to create a different graph later.

Hey everyone - it's been a while since I've been in here.  Way to get to 150 pages!

I've got another hockey game today - it's going to be hot in there!  I need a good pre-game meal and plenty of fluids.  So I'll go with my usual buttered pasta and a glass of water to start.  I'm sure more water will be needed as the day goes on.  4.gif

Post number 700! A round of drinks on me for this pointless occasion! 39.gif

Eastwinn:  Yes, a seven day performance, a weekend performance, and a weekday performance would be interesting.  Since you are external, you can't locate the source of each connection, which would be interesting from a world-wide basis of who's on when.

MsD: Canadian Club and 7up served.  Happy to see you.  Deb, did you ever put the large, underground factory of yours on the STEX?

Jacky: Coca-cola served.  Hi, Jacky, how's it going?

ryanb_sc4Pasta with clarified butter served.  A litre glass of ice water accompanies.  I take it there is no air cooling for the game.  (Is it outside?).  Drop back after and well help cool you out.  I'll have one of the wranglers give you a good lunge, and then we can brush you down.

justanothersim86:  700?  Ok, good so far, I guess.  Requested food served.  35.gif  We all thank you for your round.  I'll have a Horse's Ass.

Nope, there was no air cooling.  It was indoors, too.  Not good.  Horrible result today - we got goose-egged and pretty much eliminated from the playoffs.  I skated harder than I've ever skated in my life, so I'm beat.  Now it's time for "fun hockey".

Sixty years young...wow, think of all the things that you have witnessed in your life...

And hey, you're not afraid to admit your age! Good for you Fred_Ginger! Accept continuing maturity with style and grace, and may you get better with age, as the white wine you drink.

FanG:  Happy Birthday Vicki.  Since you ask for a white wine, I hope you'll like our choice.  Veuce Cliquot served frappee in a nice tall flute.  Enjoy the bubbles.  60?  Infant!

MsD:  If you will put that cake on the bar, the autosystem will provide service for you.  Here, have a glass of champers with Vicki.  Veuve Cliquot served.

ryanb_sc4:  The Factory is serving champers for Vicki's birthday.  Veuve Cliquot served (virgin if necessary).

brancra:  Well, have a glass of this champers, too.  There is caviare on the bar to help it along.

BlondeTwiggy: It came from here, I assure you. Made in California. 3.gif

N_O_Body: Haha. Actually, there are people who eat grass - most of them live in Japan. Companies get huge profits selling barley grass drinks over there.

Seriously, I have doubts about the health benefits of one eating their own lawn. 3.gif

justanothersim86: Welcome back, and congrats on your 700th post! 9.gif

    Fred_Ginger: Congratulations! A toast to your 60th birthday! 9.gif

ryanb_sc4: Heh. I used to do hockey... classes, anyway. Still, I got pretty hot. I would always drink a lot of ice water afterward. 4.gif

MsD: You're more considerate than the kids in Texas high school were on the actual day that it happened. I thank you!

Speaking of the 9 / 11 tragedy, there's a movie premiering on 9 August called " World Trade Center ". I want to see it.

    ryanb_sc4:  A portentious date.  I'll be 69 9 days later.

MsD:  Not yet.  The board has been very busy in my lists.  Will do so soon, and let you know.

69 is a wonderful age. Unless you opened a chain of restaurants where large-breasted females serve chicken wings.

But, they're very good chicken wings.

N_O_Body: It would be amazing what I could do if I could tell where each person loged on was living. I could create an animated map representing, with little dots, people logged on all over the world. Saddly, I have no idea how I would do that.

That would be interesting Eastwinn. It would also be even more interesting if that animated map were Google Earth..

Try to serve some healthy food for a Gremlin. Just say a meal of some sort.

I'll let you know if you did good nor not.
