IE 6 > IE 7 But really, I used to hate Firefox so many things didn't work with AvantBrowser which is IE and the IE 7 beta, I just didn't like the placing of the address bar being above the tool bars and that I wasn't able to move them around...I got rid of it when I reformated for some other reason... I still have IE 6, honestly though Firefox 2.0 > IE...

the definition really tagged itself to be after the era of Hardcore(which was an in betweener of Rock//punk)...as from the above post about fugazi, I just consider it punk... We can fight over genres for hours and hate each other over it, but I have to say...just go by your opinions...I have no problem with that Post-Hardcore to me goes as follows Chiodos (100% Post-Hardcore) Converge (maybe a bit of a stretch) The Fall of Troy (100% Post-Hardcore) Heavy Heavy Low Low (100% Post-Hardcore) Fear Before The March Of Flames (100% Post-Hardcore) He Is Legend Circa Survive Saosin (anthony Green era) although the new cd is good The Sound of Animals Fighting( well the first record ) Scary Kids Scaring Kids Thrice Showbread At All Cost Underoath (I'd consider it) The Jonbenet (local houston band) Trophy Scars The Blood Brothers

RHW - Questions, Errors, and Testing

Originally posted by: haljackey Hmm try this Make sure you download the latest version (if you don't its in my signiture). Put it into MY DOCUMENTS in the NAM folder. You can put a ZZZ in front of the name to make sure it loads in game after the NAM. To make sure it lays out, try dragging two long sections of the ANT parallel and right next to eachother. With thses steps taken you should see the RHW in-game. If all else fails, try deleting all the pervious RHW files on your hard drive and download it again so you only have one copy. Having multiple copies of the RHW might have messed you up right there. Thats my advice, anyway. Hope this helps fishstix001! -Haljackeyquote> well, it seems that I've found the problem, it wasn't saved in within the simcity 4 folder in "my documents." Another question, is there anyway I can attach on-ramp/off-ramps to this w/o the use of maxis highway to attach an onramp? Or is it impossible to do this? I've already found "a" puzzle piece road over RHW, which is perfect for my fly-over roads -
RHW - Questions, Errors, and Testing

Originally posted by: qurlix I think I can grant you guys a pardon for your off-topic-ness, I'm pretty sure it was my fault in the first place. cee_em_bee: Yes. But there is only one done so far, and it's a stupid rip-off of an existing avenue interchange. Avi: The RHW mod has to load after the NAM. (If you are not familiar with the loading order of SC4, it loads plugins and folders alphabetically.) If you put it in the exact same folder as the NAM, you should be fine. Also, to get more than two icons you must have more than one copy of the RHW installed. Having more than one in your plugins folder could (theoretically) significantly slow down your game. If that doesn't fix your problem, the ANT is simply exacting its revenge for all of us trying to replace it. Seriously though, if that doesn't work, I'm not quite sure what the problem is. With any luck, version 0.15 is going to be a bit more stable (the multiple-icon problems will definitely be gone). 1dera3: Black is transparent, white is visible. Write it on the back of your hand like I do. I guess your name kind of depends on who you are...I mean are you an independent group or part of the RHW? Yeah, we have conjoined releases, but does that make us the same team? As for the site, I forgot to ask noone. It's really up to him as webmaster. Then again, it's up to me whether to accept the RHW into the coalition or not. (Hmmm, with this kind of power, I suppose I could blackmail myself!) Come to think of it, all the HDC (and NAM) issues really need to be settled before we make any other decisions... Decision-making time...awww, man. (a la Swiper, as in Swiper, no swiping!) -qurlixquote> I'm having a similar problem like Avi, but the file isnt replicated like that --- the tutorial hasn't helped me at all I've downloaded the plug in and put it in the same folder as the nam none of the files were renamed, so how come nothing is working? ant road isn't morphing into the rhw if thats what it should do... --- I've re downloaded the rhw and the nam multiple times to see if it would work for once, but nothing has come up to solve the problem. -
Real Highway (RHW) - Development and Support

Originally posted by: Tarkus @haljackey: The parclo is something I'd like to look into tackling. It seems there has been quite a bit of demand for it. @fishstix001: I actually have seen some "frontage" type interchanges similar to that, where the highway is elevated above the frontage road. They usually don't have quite so many ramps, though. @WolfoSAUR: Glad you liked the interchange! The diamond interchanges are generally quite prevalent throughout the Western US. @LivingInThePast: You're right! They probably would be terrible in real life in that form. I still need to get the ramps on the model looking a little less jagged. (there's a lot of imperfections in the model you can't see in the picture . . . my GMAX skills are slowly improving, though.) In order to get a Texas-style frontage-type interchange like that, it really wouldn't require anything more than a few textures and a little modding of the RHW's intersection capabilities. @Keiran Halcyon: ArkenbergeJoe's ramps are very similar to what I'm trying to do. I just need to get my models to look a little less cheesy. @artforce1: That is a great idea! I'd be interested in being a part of that project . . . my time might be a bit limited at times, but once I get the process down, I should be able to produce interchanges and puzzle pieces quite rapidly. I've got a few ideas I'd like to try out with that, possibly even some separate ramp pieces. I'm most worried about pathing. I had read on one of the official NAM posts that the next NAM was supposed to have come out a few months ago . . . and from what qurlix said, the RHW kind of got absorbed into the NAM, so I have no idea what's going on there . . . By the way, congratulations on your Master's degree and new job! I just finished my Master's up back in June, and recently started on my Ph. D. And yes, the GHSDP has been a great addition to SC4. -Tarkus quote> there should be one on ramp and one exit ramp on each side...I was expirimenting with it- 3,919 Replies

They'd be terrible in real life! @Wolverine: Doubleposter at 1250 posts? Shameful!quote> that is on a hill and I get the general idea...you're going for more of a diamond shape- 3,919 Replies

Originally posted by: LivingInThePast Here is my proposed way the RHW could interact with the roads and whatnot. Note: It says "Level RHW Bridge". Here's how the ramps merge onto the one-way road. Both are of horrific quality, sorry.quote> This isn't with the rhw since I can't get mine to work properly, but I've used the ground highway in a similar fashion I have an idea...modled from the texas highway system(since I live in texas)...Still working on it...so it's not perfect...all done using ground lifter/nam puzzle pieces ect... and here is another one- 3,919 Replies
