But, let's skip the plays on words. I noticed Leech has her own restaurant---when did Off-Topic turn into ST's "Restaurant Row"? So many choices...quote>

Who is this other leech you are talking about?

I'm not a she.

I still don't know what it is. It's been a year and a half, and you're still confusing me.

Almost as much as I am confusing you.

I should really stop posting here, I said I wouldn't. Summer time is boring. Who wants to take me to Duluth with them?

..I could really go for a snapple right now.

Sorry. I figured "her" would be more appropriate than "it", but I also decided to take a dig at masculine societal influence (it's not always "his" world, after all).

MsD: A glass of freshly squeezed orange juice is wafted to your table on a zephyr and set down in silence.  Enjoy.

blonde twiggy:  Service aces are the hardest part.  Just don't get too many lets, and you will find that if you just brush or miss the top of the tape that your service will be good.  Have fun.

s.i.X:  Aha!  How are things in the lakehead, vid?  Snapple served.

sloppet:  Service completes.  Raw meat isn't good for you.  Oh, well, it's your digestion.

Simen: Singapore sling served - double.

Well, folks, I am off on Canada day.  I leave you with this image to think about.  What happens to an Afghani imam when someone serves him an ice cap from Timmy's in Kabul?

I am working on putting a working link banner in my sig to my CJ. All the coding I try doesn't seem to work. ST accepts BB Coding, right? You guys in the Moose Factory can help me out, right? I once had something like this in my sig at another site, but I forgot how to do it. Any help from you guys is appreciated!

N_O_Body: That's a puzzler... What do you mean by "ice cap", and what is "Timmy's"? 47.gif

I must be the only one who actually wonders about these things. 18.gif

Happy Canada Day! Such an interesting place...

    BlondeTwiggy: I suppose. *shrugs*

None of the coding I have tried wants to work today. I guess I'll try again when I get back.

I think Dirk disabled BB codeing for security reasons or something.

That is why Dirk made this

    to edit your signature with.

After you get your IMG link from a picture hosting site and have pasted it into your Signature, click the 'profile update' button. That way, you will have an actual picture in your sig when you go to update it, not a line of an IMG link.

To get a picture link, insted of highlighting words, you click on the picture you want to link once. Then, you go about linking the picture the same way you would link words.

Sparkling white grape juice, on the rocks s'il vous plait.

Saint John actually had Canada Day fireworks this year, on Canada Day; It's the first year I remember where they weren't postponed/cancelled due to fog. I wasn't there (I could hear them from my house), but a schoolmate of mine took some nice pictures. This one is my favourite.

    16c9xya.png

It's a PNG, so here's the link if you're using IE.

On top of that, tomorrow morning I'm off for a one-month long foray into the world of linguistics in New Brunswick's most favoured important city. The Université de Moncton holds a program every summer where students from across New Brunswick get to travel to the University, stay in dorms, visit local cultural and historic sites, and improve their French language skills. I'm really looking forward to it.

    Fisch: WOW that's beautiful! 6.gif

Hey all, hey N_O_Body... haven't been here in a while... 21.gif

Lots going on: I'm visiting my grandma in Calgary for the week, went down to Princess Island today for the Canada Day celebrations, went to Cochrane too... I'm writing the script to my latest amateur film, and I'm starting work as a Production Assistant again now that school's out.  So much going on, so little time.  In the SC4 world: haven't been BATting much lately, but I am working on an update to the Vic Hawk story.  Check out my CJ if you're interested.  It's the story of this enviromentalist guy... very much based on the story of Tre Arrow.  I'm trying to raise awareness about the importance of our environment... what we're presently doing to it is horrific... we really got to clean up our act.

Gimme a Llama Milk Hot Chocolate, please, if you still have those.  I used to have those since the first time I've been here (geez, that was way back at the official website 18.gif).  Actually, I'll just have an icy-cold Llama Chocolate Milk.  Been out in the sun all day, celebrating Canada Day... need something to cool off.

Have a great day y'all... I'll try to stop in more regularly, this is a great place to hang out and make new friends. 2.gif

Fischbob: Wow, that's far more spectacular than the fireworks display that takes place here in SJ on the 4th! 9.gif

BTW, how do you give the image that "rounded rectangle" look? I've always wanted to do that. 9.gif
