Bush hates mexicans like me. His wall will go up(on the mexican border) like the wall of Berlin. And he is a dictator because he kills people in Iraq that don't have to be killed. Plus he lisening to our phone calls. And he owns Exxon company. (off- topic ,well not really because he will become a dictator). Instead of help people of New Orlands he went to his ranch in Texas.

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA.26.gif Bush does not hate Mexicans or Iraqi people. He is doing that because for protection. Mexicans come over the border to the US. What would happen if it was the other way around. Americans crossing into Mexico. What would happen.

The people who are dying are insurgents. the insugents kill people in Iraq not Americans. Man this is anbelivable. I hate liberial democats. our founding fathers were correct that there sould be no political parts.

Haha...these Bush comments are WAY off topic.

I don't understand why so many people hate him. People claim to base their opinions on the facts, but very few know just a fraction of the relevant facts. That is why the word politics was invented. Plus, the President is always blamed for situations that are essentially beyond his control (such as blaming or praising a president for the current economy)...so that may be one reason why people hate Bush.

To keep this on topic:

Politics in the USA will no longer be Republican v. Democrat.
There will have been a peaceful revolution and the government will take more of a euro shape with many parties, and seats divided according to percentage of votes won.

By 2050 the last of the standing Industrial nations will be fighting over the remaining resources. Many present members of the middle class in the western countries will be faced with poverty. The economies of the western nations will probably come crashing down around 2030 or so due to unrestrained and unsustainable growth. In the third world things will be even worse than they are now because of a lack of any aide from the richer countries at all. Major food shortages will probobly start happening around 2015 or so, even in the western countries, due to the rising price of oil and thus oil derived pestacides. By 2020 most of the food grown will probably be organic. Massive swaths of suburbia will be abandoned due to expensive commutes, and consumer goods will fail to be cheap enough for the general population to afford. Though US politicians will assure the public that everything will return to normal soon, many will have lost faith in the USD and will instead start their own local currencies, such as in Ithica, New York.

As a side note, to GreekMan: Although I'll admit that I don't trust Bush one iota, which will probably color my opinion a bit, I don't think you're being fair or carefully considering your opinions. The American founding fathers were most definately liberal (*gasp*). Rebelling against the institutions of the Old Regime would be considered extreemly radical in the late 1700's. Even today in some parts of the world, the ideas of free speech and freedom of religion, let alone the right to vote, are considered extreemly outlandish. Liberals granted women sufferage and liberals initiated the civil rights movement. The most common card played by conservatives at this point is that Republicans freed the slaves and initiated the reconstruction, these were radical Republicans who were later disowned from the party. If conservatives had had their way throughout history, we would still be living under an aristocratic regime that has all of the power and all of the money. I also hope you all keep in mind that the United States, Bush or no, is a liberal democracy. In the true sense of the word, when someone discusses a conservative government, he is talking about a country like South Africa under apartheid.

So when I call myself a liberal, I wear the label with pride. Don't beleive for a second that addressing me as such would be degrading in any way.

I hope from here on out this thread can continue on topic.

Holography is possible.

It's already been done, but it's very limited. Pioneer made the 3D technology for their new LCD TVs.... Pricey, though.

----------
AS for 2050....
- Australia forms an EU-style alliance with the majority of SE Asia, including China and Japan.
- North Korea is now a wasteland under the sea [after the US nuked the sh*t out of it in 2010] 3.gif
- Africa begins to emerge as a potential world power.
- Israel is dismantled and returned to the Palestinians.
- The EU takes in more members, but soon will collaspe under the sheer weight of bureaucracy.
- The UN will be replaced by another union.
- Latin America and Central America form an alliance.
- Colombia stops exporting drugs, having found an alternative source of income. 3.gif
- Amazon Rainforest's logging rate has dropped to the point where it is slowly able to regenerate itself.
- Cloning will be banned, however, new body parts are able to be easily made using one's DNA.
- Magnetic levitation becomes commonplace.
- The economies of the Middle East collapse when the flying car, using the earth's magnetic field to fly, is invented.
- Computers will become an integral part of society.
- Virtual Reality is commonplace.

There will be a MAJOR shift in US politics. The democratic and republican parties will both become a thing of the past because either a third party or a reform party will gain the mainstream power.

Urban sprawl will slow down, as more and more cities enact smart growth legislation (it is a trend that is really catching on).

As for my local area.... I live in Mount Vernon, WA which is located halfway between Seattle, WA and Vancouver, BC.

My local town will grow, but will always have a strong farming/agricultural base. We are well known for having some of the best soil in the country, so we work hard to keep developers someplace else and away from the farms.

Seattle will see a huge revampment in its waterfront. It is already being planned as the Alaskan Way Viaduct is nearing the end of its life. The city will also see an in-general retrofit of most the buildings and structures to make them stronger against an earthquake.

Also, there will be additional mass transit, and I hope all the bus systems finally unite and merge. The way it is now, each and every county has their own transit system, so doing long-distance travel can be a pain. I would like to see light rail lines that go from Seattle to Vancouver BC.

The city of Seattle will not sprawl into massive suburbs simply because land is scarce. Seattle today is a very compact city compared to others such as LA, Dallas, Denver, and Chicago. We have tons of lakes, rivers, and mountains that help curb sprawl.

Also, as for the off-topic Bush talk...

Many people think they are stating opinions based on facts when all they have done is read their local newspaper or watched their local television news. The news media is BIASED and will only tell you what THEY WANT YOU TO HEAR. Very few people really have the facts. I would have not voted for Bush, but he is not AS harmfull as much of the international community thinks he is. 99% of what the general public (American and international alike) knows is only what the biased news media tells them.

Bottom line: The news media cannot be trusted and only a fool would form opinions based upon what the media says.

My cats are also liberal, I think they have a socialist world takeover scheme. They are hiding in there litter box, but I can't get it because it smells pretty bad.

By 2050:

Iran will have dropped a thermo-nuclear warhead on Israel, those provoking a war (really?).
China will have invaded Taiwan provoking WWIII.
United States will be completly relient on forgein goods.
U.S. companys will have dropped any and all U.S. workers and move overseas completly outsourcing all skilled labor. With no one left with any money in U.S., various Europena business men come in and buy up most property thus reducing U.S. to takeover from Greenland and/or Andorra.

With possibly the help of God the Republican and Democratic parties will have collasped thus bring an age of englighenment, or U.S. becomes police states run by the church.

Having run out of nickel ore the U.S. mint drill to the center of the Earth for more,.

By 2050, The USA would be sending less probes into space. In fact, Denmark, Britain, Athens, China and Russia would be joint space powers. The SAU (Scandi-Anatolian Union, as explained in my first post of this thread), will have sent a number of space shuttles, and the SAU will have completed a small space station.

I really doubt Athens (if it ever happens) will have anywhere near the amount of importance you predict it may.

Concerning the issue of running out of oil, they have discovered oil rich soil in Alberta, Canada. Some people say it could supply North America for another century and it is starting to gain lots of attention.

Also, whats with the US negativity? And all the rediculous predictions? I personally thought the Greenland taking over the US one was most humorous. Sure the US is losing its automotive and other skilled labor base, but it seems like everyone loves to make outragous predictions of it decaying into nothing. 44 years isn't that far away, and the US doesnt completly rely on its labor base. The US has a very strong agricultural base too, and is one of the leading food exporters. I do think the US will be surpassed by countries like China as a superpower, but seriously you guys are getting a bit crazy with some of these ideas. 22.gif

Well, let's see...

Here in sprawling San Antonio, Texas, we announce with pride that we have restored our historic place as first city of Texas, once again surpassing Dallas and Houston in size and power.  Not that such distinctions really matter anymore, for the TexTrans loop of maglev bullet trains allow Austin, San Antonio, Houston, and Dallas to essentially function as one large megalopolis ring of cities and suburbs.  Water, however, remains a growing problem for the burgeoning population, as the unrelenting drought and increasing heat waves take their toll of water supplies and tighter water rights.  Huge shallow sinkholes miles across from overpumping of limited groundwater already dot the countryside surrounding Houston and Dallas.  Global Warming is a fait accompli.

For the more doom-and-gloom Orwellian predictions...

Ever since the day when the unchecked cargo container ship carrying the stolen Russian nuclear bomb quietly sailed into New York harbor, the radioactive Manhattan Island Megazone has been used as a national prison by the US Federal Bureau for Criminal and Immigrant Detainment.  Those who try to escape the MIM Quarantine Area are shot on sight.  In the aftermath of the blast, the blackened and partly melted face of the disfigured Statue of Liberty, her lips shredded back to expose the jagged steel structure behind her newly pealed grimace, remains a gruesomely ominous icon.

In the face of unrelenting terrorism, a permament state of emergency remains in effect for the rest of the country.  Terrorist street bombings followed by massive police crackdowns and curfews on all poor urban neighborhoods have become a part of everyday life as the government attempts to purge the populace of threats to public safety and order.  Anyone considered undesireable are forcibly expunged from society.  Supreme Court Chief Reichsjustice Scalito casts the deciding vote legalizing the removal of women and minorites from all public positions.

The Patriotic Loyalty Act removes all birthright citizenship, requiring instead both special medical examination and military police service to attain citizen status with local voting privileges.  Citizens wishing to achieve national voting privileges must prove at least 7 past generations of their familes were true citizens who would have passed current medical requirements and had no immigration ties to suspect origin countries.  All children must register with and remain active within an approved Youth Faith center.  Non-citizens failing the medical standards must relocate to designated segregated townships isolated in Nevada, Arizona, and New Mexico.  Anyone with non-patriotic names, or names suggesting foreign origin from a suspect country, also face evacuation to the special relocation units.

As the global warming effects of heat, drought, and weather tighten their grip, production from established agricultural areas decline sharply, creating massive worldwide famines.  Consumption remains high in the US, however, as new meat products are miraculously produced out of the special evacuation centers.  Nobody dares question where this soylent meat comes from.

The minefields and hidden gun emplacements along the southwest border with Mexico continue to meet with mixed results, as civilians continue to make their escape across the border into Mexico.  The US Government demands the immediate return of these asylum-seeking criminals, threatening punitive action under the Protectorate Doctrine if Latin America does not obey.  Farther north, suppression squads from the occupation police again crackdown on rioters in Toronto and Montreal, stifling terrorist resistance to peaceful US-Canadian unification.  New relocation camps are planned for Baffin Island.

World oil markets remain in crippling chaos following havoc from the second Iran-Israeli nuclear exchange.  Indian and Chinese peacekeepers continue to secure the larger oil-producing regions for export east, while US Expeditionary Forces are bogged-down fighting insurgents throughout Saudi Arabia and Yemen.  In the face of world criticism led by Free China and harsh economic sanctions levied by Islamic Europe and Nationalist India following the Canadian annexation, the United States has walked out of the impotent and hostile United Nations, vowing never to return until the time is right.

The first of the national agency ziggurat supertowers, this one for the Ministry of Homeland Security, is completed in Washington, D.C.  Guided by beliefs from the Christian Evangelical Center for the EndTimes, an influential Republican think-tank, White House policy-makers and administration officials finish preparations for the American Messiah Project, grooming the President for his new upcoming role as the chosen defender reasserting God's True Will upon the wicked world.  The plan is quite simple:  the sooner we can bring about the Apocalypse, the sooner we can herald in the Kingdom of Heaven under the New American Millenium.

Free China looks on in worry, stationing carrier task forces along the Baja Peninsula and in the Gulf of Mexico.  Islamic Europe pleads for calm, but no one seriously listens to them anymore.

Having read all these predictions beforehand in an obscure Simtropolis forum thread, Odainsaker has long ago fled to the paradise refuge of Tahiti, hoping the rising sea levels haven't drowned their islands yet.  The sunny beach air surely will do good for an aging 75-year-old sitting on the sand while playing Sid Meier's Civilization XI on the holographic laptop transputer.  Rats...Social Security has gone bankrupt, and Caesar and Gandhi are picking on me again.

-- naturally, almost all such predictions are really commentary on our own times.  I wonder just what the negativity suggests.

Wow...this is quickly becoming a political thread...

Here's a thought: Instead of making a list of what will happen in the next 50 years (like in 2030 WW3 starts when French Polynesia invades Antartica or because of President Hamster, a certain American country of United States is in the 3rd world!!!!111one!), talk about what your country will be like in 50 years, like the thread was started for.

Some more NY predictions:
1. Health--Advances in modern medicine push back average life expectancy to well past 100. However, AIDS is still a major problem and widespread infection is not restricted to Africa.
2. Olympics--The Olympics STILL won't be held in NY.
3. Education--Due to degree inflation, most people go to school for at least 8 years.

Also, for all of you who say that NJ will be completely developed: it can't. The Highlands Bil limits most of the growth in Northwestern NJ, at the edge of the New York Suburbs. In South Jersey, there's a similar act creating The Pinelands National Preserve .

EU, China, India, Soviet Union, and Brazil are major powers as the US finally collapses upon itself. Automobiles become less and less common, as mass transit and use of trains becomes more and more common. Air transportation is only used for transcontinental travel. Third world countries will continue to suffer, possibly on a much larger scale, possibly smaller, but poverty will not be eradicated. More extensive use of GE staples leads to huge increase in world food production. AIDS will be more rampant around the world, especially in Africa and Asia. Population of Europe will level out and decrease to today's levels or below. Italy's population will have dropped 20% from today. Massive liberal movements across Europe and Commonwealth nations, reducing poverty, increasing healthcare, and beautifying the nations. Just my thoughts.

also what you are saying about Bush is crazy. You think a second civil war will start becuse of that?

Even of a thought like that scars me.

I think by 2050, Chico CA (1hour N. of Sacramento)will have doubled or trippled its population, aiming at a sort of smaller town experience to those who are sick of the megaopolis of the Sacramento-Bay Area. It'll be a combination of new urbanist type single family neighborhoods, and lofts and such in the downtown areas. The existing typical sprawl will probably just become housing for those just starting out financially, as the houses will be falling apart and affordable 1.gif. Maybe a light rail or something.

Transportation will still be by private (hydrogen) vehicle,at least for long distances. I imagine major freeways and throughfares will be computer controlled for optimum speed and efficiency, however once off the high capacity transportation grid, manual driving will resume. I envision that the system will be expanded as needed.

As for the nearest large metropolitian area , I think the area between Sacramento and The Bay Area will become another suburban wasteland in about a decade or so since its so close to two large employment centers, and will probably be redeveloped around 2040-50. Downtown Sac will continue to become more of a downtown. Probably a BART/ rapid transit connection to the bay.48.gif

Or those of us left will be looking for twinkies to survive on after the nuclear holocaust.35.gif

Plus he lisening to our phone calls. And he owns Exxon company. (off- topic ,well not really because he will become a dictator). Instead of help people of New Orlands he went to his ranch in Texas.

You should state this as your opinion, since that is all that it is. Not as a fact, especially since Bush is nothing like your discription at all. The Wall Is not even his idea it was 4 other guys, pulling at his coat tails.
QUIT sneaking into our country illegally and fix your own government that is causing you to sneak into my country and break both countries laws!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Do a bit of studying and you may find out that New Orleans cannot be rebuilt. It is going to happen again within ten years but much worse. Florida is supposed to be losing some beach front as well and many many islands will be covered by water and lost, in ten short years!
Alaskan native tribes are right this very moment watching their villages crumble into the ocean and nobody is helping them either. Polar ice will be gone in ten years. I mean completely GONE, melted away and the ocean level will rise tremendously.

Basically the worst parts of the Bible according to a recent movie quote.

Sir scott: Try a one world government. That is a more precise prediction.

Everyone: we should take what we know as fact into account first, before we decide what is possible in 2050. of course this is all just for fun I suppose? So maybe I am getting a bit too worked up...
My guess is the Incas, Mayans and Aztecs predicted it correctly 1000's of years ago. They found, that the stars fall from heaven in 2012. According to their charts of heavenly bodies and their movements through space.
Bible says, the stars will fall from heaven also, about 3 and a half years before the end of this Earth age. (Bible breaks time into specific ages or turning points.)

So my guess is the eden curses are lifted in 2015 and time stops again and light exists amongst us.

EDIT: Has anyone read Einsteins, Special Theory of Relativity? I have read it many times(It takes many, just to understand it all) It goes hand in hand with what my Bible says about light and time.

Something wonderful is about to happen. another movie quote.

very soon we all will have a chip embedded under our skin. They inject them there, with a syringe. The chip will contain your banking information, security number, finances, credit history, birth records, etc. basically everything you will ever need to apply or buy, for anything.

No more wallets, no more counterfeiting or purse snatchers, because there will be nothing to gain of value!
Forgery will disappear, as we all are identified by this chip that can be scanned at airports and the grocery store. you do not sign for it, you scan for it!
Terrorists can no longer hide their identity. No one can hide or sneek in any way.
If you commit a crime and try to run; GPS will pinpoint you, by your chip implant.

This is already being done to livestock and prisoners. It is quite successful.

again; its all in your Bible folks.

WEll alot of interesting thoughts i will try not to say anything that will upset people and i will stick to Australia and coment on Ireland(at time of post Happy Australia day to all auzzies ands auzzies at heart9.gif)

Ok basically australia is either in one of these secenarios part of this is part of governments out look for next 20-50 years based on Csiro

1Australia's population spiked at 21million 2015-25, becuase of not enough young people the econmy will sufer a huge downturn will no longer be lucky country, lose a lot of influence, lot's of poverty of the older generations

2Australia's popuation at 24.4 million slow decline in poulation we go from around tenth in best place in world(according to UN 2000 list of countries and their wealth and stuff) To around 25 but we still are there happy doing our day things going about life has happy as ever and we get over it, we lose some prosperity but i must say America's huge trade deficiet and China will release their miilions of American money so to get ameica from being a super power, lot's of bad things happen( no offence to my American freinds, it may not happen.)

Australia's population goes up and up to around 32 million by 2040-50 keeps going up.

THings more than likely to happen if things continue as they are

I'm not being racist but Australia is 50 percent Asian(maybe more), it will happen eventually, causcian people will be around 40% 9% other groups mainly Middle eastern. 1 % of country is Aboriginal becuase of our governments lack of help to Aborignals, i have nothing against other people but this likely to happen

Now Sydney

Opera house falls to bit's because of Government don't do anything to repair lot's of national items and buildings etc. Sydney is clogged up like L.A HUge sprawl and the governments lack of Public transport fundsing and their resistnace to build more rails(light or heavy) make Sydney satgnate, melborune is over taken by Brisband as next big city and lot's companies move thier HQ from Sydney to melbourne or Brisbane

Government just build more and more PPP's(public private partnerships) so they don't have to part with their huge salaries. The all end up like the Cross city tunnel project no the government might have to buy out the private part at a cost of nearly a billion dollars. The cross city tunnel charges $4.40 for a .7k kilometre journey both ways, they started closing major roads to force them into it, still didn't work.

Sydney reaches the Blue mountains to the west, the Hawksebury river and National parks to the north and more National Parks to the west, we have to go up and they clog up the streets becuase the government only built more tollways with funding from private companies.

But the government actually does something smart charges a congestion fee, makes a road for the north shore, upper and lower and for people travelling who want to by bass Sydney. It is somesought of 4-6 lane dual carriage way. probably mainly tunnels. The sate governments plan for Sydney is to Chatswood the city basically, making Chatswoods everywhere buy making all over  the city metro area mini cities that will suypply themselves with job's and stuff. They finally build a rail coonection to the Northern beaches, (where i live) To ease the congestions. it takes at current time 1 hour 35minutes to travel less than 35ks, and lot's of the routes close to flooding or crashes.( One road has 15 death in 14 years of operation)regualry.

But then i doubt they will do that becuase of the Liberals lack of support for thier third safest seat, they lost to independent candidate Alex Mctaggart. Who was the mayor of pittwater council. He had 75% of votes 20% was for the Greens(which i want to vote for when i'm 18, go greens)and other independents, the liberals had less than 5% Because of this the LIberals lose most of their seats to independents and their is only one big parties(labour) and many others which when joined up still don't have the power to stop anything. But i hope this never comes true, about the one big party(labour).

Also to thpose who doudted about Ireland i can tell you this at the monet Ireland is driving the Euro. Ireland property values have gone from about 50, 000 euros to about 600,000 in about fifteen years(note, ireland changed from irish pound to Euro. Ireland has seen huge foreign invesment has the huge immigation but i think ireland will stop at about 6 miilion people. The Roads of Dublin would be probably worst then L.A, becuase of time taken to travel kilometres ratio. But it's public transport is Superb the Luas Line is great, 5 miuntes to travel to city centre from Dumdrum( for all you irish out there) and the dart is great, south to the north is ten minutes. Plus Dundrum is getting the biggest shooping centre in all of Britian and Ireland. Belfast is actually a really nice place, i have an aunt there, The last IRA thing(Irish repulican army) was over ten years ago, it is  flourishing has a big retail area. Also The Titanic was made In Belfast.

Well i can say two thing about the world that will definetly come true

1 no matter what we will still continously fight each other(words or actual wars)

2 World resources will be not be able to replenish them selves if we don't think about alternatives, like hydrogen power busses in Perth and a person who discovered how to power his car with a bit of oil and canola oil( That was 5 years ago, he was proably paid to be quiet.

But i must say, supermarkets are getting ouf of control, selling alcohol, petrol, and even drugs that are meant to be prescription only. They are responsible for the closing of so many loved and family owned bussiness that at if wiped out the supermarkets could dramatically rise prices.

Well that is my opinion and i dislike Bush and my own Government at sate and federal level, i do not dislike Blair becuase i don't have enough information to like or dilsike him. Don't flame me it's my opion in which i'm intilted to.

It is impossible that flying cars would appear in 2050, it probrably would still be in experimental stages.

As for the amount of countries in the world, that might increase by 2050. That would include Athens, Beslan and Tibet.

el mexicano on the Border, and those who predict about Bush There is a lot of predictions about him by 2050, but he has only got two more years in power, so by 2050, there would be a different president.

Simworld 056132, I think flying to Pluto is a bit far off 2050? Probes might be investigating this planet, but sending a man onto Pluto in just 44 years is a bit far-fetched. A man to mars is possible, but permanent settlements might not be realised until about 2500, or even further.

Also, it is impossible to predict the future of the Olympics, as we only know which city would host the particular Olympiad seven years before the games itself. For example, A city hosting in 2016 would only be revealed in 2009, A city hosting in 2020 would only be revealed in 2013, A city hosting in 2024 would only be revealed in 2015, and so on.

Another factor can also alter the sequence of host cities. The catastrophic eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 1906 meant that the city originally hosting the games in 1908, Rome had to quit, and London instead took its place. That is only 2 years before the games itself, which was 1908.

Also, for new sports to be included in the Olympics, it has to reach a criterian: to be played in multiple countries in 3 continents.

im gonna stick to ginchaels idea and stick to my local area

this is what i feel london(England) will be like in 50 years...
  1. the thameslink (a massive undergound train tunnel) will finnaly have been finished
  2. there will be regular services from St pancras station to the irish republic(through a new tunnel under the irish sea) , continental europe , and moscow via a new europe wide high speed network
  3. the city would have expanded considerably with a population approaching 10 million. the greebelt would still exist , but suburbs will have grown outside it as train links improve. commuter will come from as far away as birmingham and norwich
  4. the thames gateway will have been developed into a urban planning disaster. although thousands of homes are built, they are not provided with adequate services and the area will have become a sink hole estate. to cap this off many of these new homes will be uninhabitiable after rising sea levels swamped some areas of the low lying estury
  5. a new flood barrier will be built between kent and the flooded remains of canvey island (prompted by the floods in he thames gateway)
  6. new super tall skyscrapers will dominate the west london skyline
  7. the congestion charge will extend as far as the M25. BUT this will not be a problem because....
  8. london will have a tottaly re-vamped transport system. with the reduction of private cars due to the congestion charge and high oil prices , calls for a regenerated system will force the government to invest heavaly. the tube will still exist much as it does today , but supplemented by a larger express underground system that only has a dozen or so stopps at key locations. There will also be a new tram (or GLR) system crossing centeral london. hydrogen buses will also replace current buses.
  9. tube trains will be driverless after transport for london finally got fed up with their constant striking and put a computer at the controls
  10. London will still be one of the most important social ,cultural , and economic centres in the world

id love to know what any other londerners out there think the city will be like in 50 years

What a lot of people have said here is far fetched and impossible.
I believe that Europe will become fully pollution controlled, the region fully stabilized and the full re planting of forests where people do not live. It will be connected by a large maglev train system that creates a ring from London to Moscow and going to Madrid. As for America, things have changed a lot since the 50's. I think that the US will come to realise the great inefficiency that suburbia and highways are. They will create massive urbanisation and mass transit redevelopment plans. This will probably link the entire East Coast Megapolis, the development from Washington D.C. to Boston. Same will probably happen to the West Coast. The interior will stay its bush supporting and extreme religious ways (no offence to midwesterners). England will probably the 3rd cleanest country in Europe preceded by Switzerland and Germany. Of course Africa will develop nicely and the World will be a happy place. Europe will also cut down on chemical use and will create new easily biodegradable paper, bio computers, Bio plastics and many more things Bio, so that things thrown back into the environment will not be litter, but will actually be of some use to the environment .

USA

2007-attempts to indite president bush after the 'whipped cream' incident push the already moronic fool over the edge. when he attempts to stay in power by using the army to enforce his rule .starts a second civil war
2011-civil war finally ends. bush flees into exile in iraq where he is promptly taken hostage and forgotten about
2020-Far right christians take over the government
2025-evoloution is banned
2050-america is a third world country, but happy in thier beliefs

what??????

That future will never come true. 28.gif It is more likely that the American government will become more athiest than Christian. However, I believe America will only last for about another 2 centuries... because almost every great empire or nation has only lasted for about 200 to 400 years.. and sometimes even 1,000 years sometimes.

Haey Micah you think America will last for another 200  or 400 years. In my own opinion i don't think that would happen.

I think that the united states will last about 500 more years before falling into an irrecoverable debt.8.gif

I know this isn't my area, but I actually think that the population in Europe will fall, as well as many first world countries. The birth rate in many of these countries is usually 1 child per pair of adults, while the worldwide ideal for population stabilitiy is 2.1 children per adult.

Hey, its already happening in Japan...
