I was wondering in 80.10 what the road on the left side of the shot is. It looks like it is looping as if on a stunt track. I have never seen that before. I will admit I havn't read your entire CJ yet, Im only part way through as i was late and there is alot to read. . . but I was interested in it. if you could give more info I would apreciate it. Your updates look great as always, you are an insperation to not only building cities, but Sculping a region.

    Hey Jeronij,

The pictures of the region from above were just amazing, geez..I bet you get tired of hearing that, lol, anyway I just love the look of the runways from that view. The way the mountains form a valley around the airport.. simply nothing short of amazing once again. I am just running out of things to say..lol. Anyways great work again amigo.

    Amigo,

This is one great regional view! I love the lucious valleys and vast forests, and the mountains look amazingin your perspective. I wonder how you convert a PNG. into a JPG. without ruining its original quality. Whenever I convert one, it ends up a bit pixelated and a bit lacking detail.

Every so often I take a look at your CJ (as so many more people do), and mostly I am amazed by what you are able to create with this game. Now I just have to give a comment because I think your regionshots are beautiful, the city in the rivervalley with this huge airport close by on a flat piece of land, and then the towering mountains in the background...., it is understandable why you are so high on everybody's list. Great work.44.gif

Your city is so damn good!29.gif My god, it is so good....I'm speechless...I do not have any words...not one...25.gif

Seriously, you are a very talented person to take mere land, and to transform it to a not only a functional city, but a city that is pleasing to the eye. 10.gif I have been playing SimCity for a long time, and you are doing stuff that I can only dream of... Good work. 35.gif

    Hi Jeroni!

I'm back. I followed this CJ the past weeks and maybe months but I never posted. You know, I had my final exams (I finished them, yay!), I was busy with a girl (I may call her my girlfriend now, yay!) and I had some other things to do. Anyway, now I have lot's of time so here's my message!

You CJ is getting better and better. In the beginning, it was awesome, and totally new. Nobody worked like you did. But if I compare for example the dirst few pages to the newest pages, I still see a lot of improvement in your skills, and they were already awesome in the beginning. I really like how this CJ developed to one of the most visited and longest one. Thumbs up for that!
Also, and you probably noticed yourself, some other great CJ's in simtropolis are inspired by you, and those people work like you do, the style of the CJ, but also the style of their city is inspired by you. And there are probably a lot of people like me, who don't have a CJ but build your cities a bit like you do.

I also noticed that you made those great trails. They're great. I use them, and it's exactly what I need. There are some other trails out there, but those don't fit my needs. You're trails have not too much props on it, and are just beautiful. Another thing I like about your trails is that those are in the transportation menu.

I'm critical too. I'm probably the first one that doesn't like your big airport. The airport itself is beautiful. But look at the region map! The airport seems a too big to me.

Look at the hills you see in the bottom of the maps. Some small villages in the valleys must  be great, with some farms on the hills, and some of those nice homes on the hills for the rich guys, surrounded by farms.

Stay on earth Jeroni, it's just a few compliments!3.gif

    -Rick

Mr Cortez, thanks too for your great comments !!! Appreciated indeed. And take all the notes you want 2.gif
Pixter, nice to see you back in SCR !!!. Congratulations on your new girlfriend 2.gif44.gif ( You did it !!!), Thanks also for your pleasant comments and your croniques about the CityJournal world 2.gif. I feel very proud because of what you mention !!!. And about the criticism, well, maybe is a little bit big, but neither the airport or the region are finished yet, so pls give me some time to continue developing 2.gif.

Thanks to all for your compliments !!!, Keep posting if you like the Journal. Each post motivate me to continue updating 44.gif !!!

The Airport nestled in the valley is perfect. Love the screen shots of the region as well. Helps put it in perspective.

I think *boo* will drive from CT to the mountains today and watch the construction. hehe

First have to stop and have a cup of java and get brain working.

    Wonderful as always.* smiling*

Where did you get those parking lots?  ( pics #1 and 4 ) with avenue going under them.

Where is that one laned road going to, and what is it?  I really like the fans on the roof.  The road going to the bottom right of the picture. It looks like you may have destroyed it because it's not in pictures 1 and 4. ( pic #1 )

Where did you get that walkway that goes across the avenue from building to building?  ( pics #5 and 6 )

    Sorry for being so vague.

The region view is very good indeed. I wonder how you get that high detail with region view, I can't zoom in so close...

Looking at that empty land still to explore, I guess that you are planning to reach the 1000th page some day... 29.gif

    My god Jeroni!

You have outdone yourself on costa tramutana! That bridge connection is amazing, and I absolutely love how you planted trees all over the clifflines. I like how the rail winds around the area and runs perpendicular to 3 bridges! 44.gif

Good Idea for the bridge heart. It is very well layed.
This is probably the most sophisticated an detailled journal around.9.gif

83 pages of sculpting goodness. From the beginning, you had all the great skills as you have now, and you have definately improved so much. 19.gif
BTW, jeroni, I cant find the cypress tree prop for the mayor mode tree mod. Can you direct it to me? I have all your lots, and I definately think its a great too and essential to sculptors. This CJ has influenced me in alomst any way, the terraforming, city layout, and the creativity you have and definately, sculpting has become one of the biggest CJ trends ever! 44.gif

Wow, really nice work there jeronij!! Nicest updates in quite a while!! 44.gif It all looks so natural and well-structured.

And what I meant my my previous comment was that I couldn't see anything else with enough detail to adequately comment. 18.gif, not that I couldn't see anything else apart from the mountains. 18.gif

MTC, many many thanks for your great compliments 43.gif !!!. I remember your first post here, 'I like it because I live near...' or something like this 29.gif !!!
    quote>

Yep, I remember too. I said something like... I especially like this CJ because I live in Portland, which is right next to the Columbia River Gorge.

But, of course I'll keep coming back, because your cities are just so amazing. You deserve all the compliment you get, and more. 29.gif

    Wonderfabutastic!

Woah, xcuse me! I was in such a hurry to say all those words, that they collided ad the exit!

I meant wonderful, fabulous and fantastic!

That central joint for the bridge is so original, the way you made all those connections, the gas station, the marina, the lighthouse!

Not forgetting your usual talent for terraforming!

    This is really beautiful amigo.

    Have a good weekend!

    Take care

Uff! It has been too long, have not seen this since page 74! And if I am right it has been only a week! Great job! A thing of beauty, sir! You are also now the LARGEST CJ IN SIMTROPOLIS as well as the fifth largest topic and Number Two non-recreation. Congratulations!

That little island in 81.09...that's just Perfect! The whole bridge is, except that one part ends on the other bank without connecting 30.gif

    Congratulations!!!

I can't believe you have surpassed Nexis of Genesis! This city journal is just so successful, and hard work from you always pays off. I have to say that your connection of bridges in Costa Tramuntana is genius! And the aiport on the previous page has to be the best airport I have seen! The harbors, bridges, islands, and the little details like the trees and flora make this city journal SOO AMAZING!!!

This City Journal is 10/10...... OUTSTANDING!!!!!!!!!!!

Amazing, my only word for this journal, and congrats on surpassing Nexis, that is such a milestone. This one has only been around the beggining of the year and Nexis has been around since early 2004. Such great work my friend.

The Bridges on the last update were really something great. I love the shots of the rocks and the trees were really amazing. The lighthouse in 81.10 is in such a great place, looks perfect. Great update, again. 2.gif

Thanks for ride in the Limosine Mayor Jeronij. I enjoyed it very much and the java was excellent! You are such a wonderful mayor.
The nice thing about the bridge is it looks like it belongs in that spot.
The Pier and the Lighthouse set it off perfectly.
    Cheers!
    As always,
