I love the curves and the creativity in the shape of them... very beautiful...

@Fox: If I wanted to use one water texture for PEG's, Simgoober's and Oppie's canals, how would I go about it other than editing each lot with LE?

Where can i get bridges for canals?

If you mean for Oppie's canals (the ones with the darker blue water in the last picture), you have to go to SimCityCentral.net .
You have to register there to be able to download.

The other ones (green water) you find on STEX.

How do you guys get boats do us your canal system? I've placed canals only in a few of my cities, so I'm not sure if they show up on their own or not. I always thought it was strictly eye candy...

I think you misunderstood my question, I am looking for bridges for canals for the one I have which is the green water one from the STEX.

My inspiration for the canal estates is Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia which has 9 time as many canals as Venice.

Unbelievable, those are some awesome canals.  I've avoided them to this point as just a bunch of hard work for no apparent purpose except eye candy.  Now I'm going to have to rethink my position. 10.gif

Its a bit diffent from the normal style (as seen here) and the edges look a bit bad, but other than that its quite effective. The only problem is that you have to plan it out before you build anything, which did cause a few problems.
