I want to try to start building canals and so can you post a picture of your canals so I can see how their supposed to be made. Are canals also functional?

Hi all,sorry for my bad English grammar and also posting the worse canal

:D

At the start of the canal,It is a cargo ship "parking" lot

When the good had been upload on the ship,they will move straight and pass an airport

Some of the cargo will be transfer to the airport and to be transported via plane

Now,the canal is near to the town,

The ship must slow down their ship now as there are many lift bridge over there

Fortunately,the ship already been slow down,the canal come to a sharp corner and the canal become shallow now due to the overuse of land that used to develop the building.

(If you cannot under my English grammar,I apologize)

Do you see,there is a train station over there,

And yes,for some reason,some of the ship will stop at there and upload cargo and passenger at that train station.

Now,again,the canal come to a sharp corner again and the canal is very shallow.

However,after the corner,there is a recreational area

And now,we arrive the final part,some ship will stop here

because is is the final part of the canal

I think it looks good!

One thing I always look for when I'm deciding how realistic my canals are... is this.

Can the boats actually get in and out of where I have them?

If you look at your top pic:

The two large ships on the left side... can't get out!

I also look at places where the canal turns... could the boats I have in the canals actually make that turn, or do I need to cut off the inner corner to make the turn more realistic?
