Name of railway plugin to remove it

Evening,

I've been going through and tidying up my SC4 cities, removing old plugins that have been replaced by something better. However, I have one plugin I've had for a long time that I can't figure out the name of in order to remove it from my plugins folder. I don't know how long I've had it or even if it's still supported, but it's this one:

I'd love to get rid of it as I haven't used it for years and I use a railway station now with a much smaller footprint that can handle more passengers.

If someone can please point me in the right direction I'd appreciate it, thanks :)

Also @CorinaMarie thanks, your floral blast command thing is awesome, I've been going through all my cities using it and generating lots of lovely forests :D

Yay! *:)

And you can go a step further for ease of use if you have @Null 45's SC4 Auto Run Cheats - DLL Plugin:wub:

In the [UnestablishedTile] section of the .ini file add:

CommandList=Flora Blast 3000 3000 3000

(or whatever numbers you normally use).

The key part tho is after you enter the city tile for the very first time, it's best to name it and then save. Otherwise if loading and saving it again while still not established, it'll get re-blasted next time you enter. *;)

My Query Tool UI Extensions DLL has an option to write the plugin file path of a queried building to its log file.

Thanks for this but I was wondering if there was like a list/spreadsheet or something where I could just enter in the name (or even a number/code) and it would tell me what the name of the plugin was - or is that not possible?

    Yes, maybe, sort of.

    Try this:

    1. Open a new city tile and name it
    2. Plop the Train Station
    3. Save, then Quit
    4. Rename your Plugins to Plugins-Hold (or such)
    5. When you load the game, it'll make a new empty Plugins folder
    6. Load the city tile with the Train Station
    7. Write down the PluginPackID from the pop up error message

Then look for that number here: Plugin Pack ID Indexes

Take note of how @catty-cb says to convert that game number to Hexadecimal before looking it up. *:read:

(And if this doesn't work there's another plan called the Binary Search which we can use to isolate the file.)

it creates a txt file with the building details *

You are thinking of Query.txt explained here. It requires the extra cheats DLL.

It's been a long while since I played with that, but as I recall it only gives the name set in the building exemplar (along with a bunch of other lot info) rather than the actual file name in plugins. *;)

Cheers for the tip, I'll give it a try tonight :)

Edit: update, it worked!! Thanks so much!! Now I can go through all my cities and put the other railway station in instead (the arched one).

@CorinaMarie Thank you so much!!! :)

I put together a searchable version of catty's catalog, but you may not find it in there - I'm working on dramatically expanding this out to cover a much larger percentage of the STEX. In the meantime, if you're unable to track it down you might also have good luck in the Can't find it? ... Ask here thread.
