Possible Mouse Cursor changed from pointer to circle

Hi Simtropolis,

I think I am losing my marbles. I noticed all of a sudden that my mouse pointer in game is now a circle. Picture is attached. I could have sworn it was a regular mouse pointer (arrow) before. Has anyone had this happen and if so and I am not losing my marbles, How can i change it?

And I must note that everything works fine including the cursor in game and its just cosmetic.

Thank you in advance for taking the time to read and respond if possible.

Hi @corint

Mine is a circle and I can't honestly say it has ever been otherwise. It does change to an arrow when zooming but turns back when finished. I don't know if it has ever been anything alse other than a circlr, but it wouldn't surprise me if I missed something. Wouldn't be the first time... ;)

Maybe someone will be along with a more definitive answer.

Is it also a circle in Windows itself, I suspect it’s just picking up those used by the system overall.

Head over to my Lot and Mod Shack to keep abreast of my latest developments.

Do you like custom textures, but don't like all the work involved creating them?, take a look at the Texture Automation options here. Change the look and feel of your transit networks, with the minimum of effort, for example customised versions of my Sidewalk NAM (SWN) and Terrain Grass NAM (TGN) mods, and much more besides.

New to the NAM? Check out my tutorials on YouTube. Latest upload: How to: RHW - MHO Roundabout Interchanges. (Nov 25).

p.s. - I'm MGB over on SC4D and a member of the NAM team.

SC4 uses its own cursors. The game's cursor manager loads the standard OS cursors, but I have never seen them used in-game.
