anybody else experencing that blue window popup that says 'the following plugins are missing'? when their city comes up?

How is that possible when no alterations / changes to any game files or folders have been made? any fixes / bugs / patches for that on here?

Have you tried looking up the number in the SC4 Catalog

https://sc4proptexturecatalog.azurewebsites.net/PluginPacks

Remember you will have to convert the number showing on the message to hexadecimal ... also there is no guarantee the number is in the database as I stopping documentating SC4 plugins quite a few years ago

If there have have been absolutely no changes at all of any kind then it's not possible. However, since you are getting the popup complaining about missing plugin packs, it means something has changed.

Not real likely nowadays, but if a sector on your hard disk went bad and now one or more files cannot be read, that could cause it.

Or it could be as simple as rearranging plugins for better organization (which from a player's viewpoint would be no change since everything is still in the Plugins folder), but in doing so you created a path greater than what the OS can read.

Yup, but I think the most likely explanation is that the last time you played, something grew for which a dependency/model is missing, which had previously not existed in that city. So something was always missing, just until now it wasn’t obvious.

When the city loads, is there a Brown Box somewhere?, usually those are pretty obvious, it would help track down which lot was missing something considerably.

Head over to my Lot and Mod Shack to keep abreast of my latest developments.

Do you like custom textures, but don't like all the work involved creating them?, take a look at the Texture Automation options here. Change the look and feel of your transit networks, with the minimum of effort, for example customised versions of my Sidewalk NAM (SWN) and Terrain Grass NAM (TGN) mods, and much more besides.

New to the NAM? Check out my tutorials on YouTube. Latest upload: How to: RHW - MHO Roundabout Interchanges. (Nov 25).

p.s. - I'm MGB over on SC4D and a member of the NAM team.
