Game Crashing 2560x1440 Steam Launch

Hey all, I'm attempting to set up my game to play at 2560x1440 in windowed mode. Currently I run the game at 1920x1080, but I'm really sick of every time I alt-tab out it minimizes my game. 

Here is the current steam launch options I am using:

-CustomResolution:enabled -r1920x1080x32 -intro:off -CPUCount:1

So I figured adjusting to this would work:

-CustomResolution:enabled -r2560x1440x32 -intro:off -CPUCount:1 -w

...but, instead the game just crashes when attempting to launch now. It almost starts, but then crashes.

Would anyone have any insight into launching the game in a windowed mode, but making full use of my 2560x1440 screen?

Hi there,

For resolutions above 1080p in hardware mode, I believe it is necessary to use a direct X wrapper.  It's not too difficult to set up.  See this thread:
