    Klaus Hartmann Family, June 2056

Klaus Hartmann is the son of Dorthea and Uwe Hartmann, on his mother’s side fourth generation after Greta Navarro. A widow of Italian heritage, who in her 2nd marriage, became the wife of Sergio Navarro. The man behind the famous monument “Gaia’s birth of Jesus”. Klaus is the cousin of Sergio Hartmann. Klaus Hartmann was born at Banana Road, Mountain Village in February 2024, just a few months before the last of the family's twin daughters died. The family relocated, first to Lumberjack Road and a few years later to an old-style country house at Old Banana Road, at the outskirts of Presidente Jakub District. It was where Klaus would spent is early childhood, until the house was demolished in connection with the construction of the tunnel between Plateau Village and Presidente Jakub District in 2034. At this point the family had become quite wealthy. His father a Power Plant Engineer, his mother jewelry designer at Maria Bird Gold & Jewelry. They moved into a large mansion at the corner of Bay Street and Maria Ruiz Road, sharing the huge building with the Ivanov family. This was where Klaus would live until he left the family in July 2045, 21 years old. Klaus Hartmann rented a small apartment at Plateau Tower and took a job at nearby Stoned Planks. The girl next door was Argentinian immigrant Heike Guttierrez. They started dating, one thing took the other and she became Heike Hartmann, giving birth to their daughter Lena Hartmann, February 2047. Together moving into a larger apartment in the same building. In 2052 Klaus lost his good job at Stoned Planks. At the time unemployment was relatively low, actually quite few uneducated haven’t got a job, but Klaus had to take a dramatic wage cut and that was not his main concern. Working with the tourist boats, often meant several days, sometimes even weekends away from his wife and the little girl. The same year the family relocated to a smaller apartment at Ruiz Tower. Small, but in a much nicer neighborhood, and definitely not cheaper. Since they met, Heike have been working at Jørgen Jensen’s Llama farm in Mountain Village. Klaus Hartmann’s farther Uwe died, 71 years old, in 2048. His mother Dorthea diedm,68 years old, in 2050.

Another earthquake hit Bounty Islands. This time the epicenter was in Saint Mary's District, Ruiz City. The earthquake devastated a large part the finance ministry, destroyed the Schnider family mansion and parts of Coffee Road. Miraculously nobody died.

34 years old chemical engineer Giorgia Vincent from the University Research Laboratory, have been working with new pharmaceutical ingredients, based upon plants growing naturally the Jungle, which have been spreading north west of Mountain Village, after the area was declared protected forest. Resulting in a breakthrough in Bounty’s medicine production. A new vaccine has been developed, significantly reducing the high number of miscarriages amongst the pregnant woman, living in densely populated towns and cities on Bounty Island. It seems that the vaccine might even reduce the risk that children born by those vaccinated, can later catch Isabella Drosophila Fever. Although the fever doesn’t kill as many children as it used to do, It is still a very important posivive side effect of getting vaccinated.

Last year, Minister of Internal Affairs, Myrthe Sullivan, contacted her cousin oil millionaire Robert Sullivan. Aiming to create a charity. After some meetings, The Sullivan Charitable Foundation is now official. On a yearly basis, 1-3 persons living on Bounty Island, will receive a one-time donation. There is no defined rule, but homelessness and/or unemployment combined with children will likely be important. Robert’s daughter Vera will lead the charity from her office in the Council of the Districts building.

    Jessica Fernández October 2056

Jessica Fernández was born in March 1986, the third child of Lucía and Carlos Fernández. Her mother was of German origin, daughter of doctor Jan Schmidt. Her father belonging to an old family living on Bounty Islands for generations. At the time of her birth, both of her parents was in Secret Bounty Military, her father an respected senior officer, 18 years older than her mother. The family living in a nice apartment at Chapel Road, just across the street from the parliament, in what was then Bounty City. Definitely a nice place to grow up. As soon as she left school, Jessica started her training at Harbor District Police. It was quite a cultural shock for her, when she got stationed at the very rural Lucia Village Police Station in 2009. Pedaling from her parent’s home in the city.

    3AlqIzE.jpeg

Later the same year she met, what was to become the partner of her life, Haruto Taka. Together, they found a small apartment in Lucia Village. Haruto was a highly educated son of a shellfish fisher, at the time living from unskilled jobs and from time to time unemployed. But you might say, Jessica bet on the right horse, when Bounty Nuclear Plant was finished in 2010, Haruto got a job as Nuclear Safety Engineer. Now the family was very well of and bought a nice home in Miner’s Village. Jessica lost her father in 2011. The family moved to Cepero Town Complex in 2016. Haruto started working with x-ray technology at D'Angelo Clinic, taking the bus over the bridge every day. They got their son Daichi in March 2021. Their daughter Hanako in July 2026. Jessica lost her mother in 2027. In 2031 Jessica got a job at the army camp at D'Angelo Main Road and the family moved to a house at Village Curve, D'Angelo Village. Haruto Taka died just 66 years old in August 2053. After the death of her lifetime parther, Jessica chose to move back to the city. Today living in a nice old apartment in Saint Mary Residential, Pasture Road, Ruiz City. She is now 73 years old, retired from the military in 2052 and the children flew their nest years ago. But she is not lonely, as she has formed a group with other elderly people, mainly from her neighborhood. 72 years old George Harris and his 67 years old wife Martina, 78 years old Adrián García, 71 years old Jessica Gómez and 76 years old Andrea Greco. Together, visiting parks and cultural institutions, all over Bounty Islands.

The oldest living person on the Bounty Islands is 85-year-old Ralf Weber. Ralf lives in a large apartment at Plateau Tower. With his 63 years old daughter Petra, a truck driver, who neither married nor got any children. Besides Petra, Ralf had another two children with his beloved wife, whom he lost in 2047. Now 60 years old Mikkel and 55 years old Maria. Maria was always his darling, and the only one who gave him grandchildren. Her daughter 21 years old Carmen, turned out to be lesbian, a huge chock for highly conservative Ralf, who is still not really able to accept the fact. Maria’s 15 years old son Andre, more the grandchild of grandpa Ralf’s liking, good at football and smart in school. In general Ralf is a stubborn old-school man, a longtime member of Nationalist Action.

López Construction has now cleaned up after the Chinatown earthquake back in August 2056. The finance ministry building could not be saved neither could the Schnider family mansion. The finance ministry is for the time being, relocated to the parliament building at Cepero Island. As the old coffee road was destroyed, a new road connection was established, from Fujian Fish, around Faces of Power Sculpture Park, to Coconut Road.

    January 2058

Professor in economy Olga Ferrara from Financial Science Center, commented on the current situation: “Overall it is clear that 2057 was a fine year for Bounty Islands, notably the new Interior Design sector fronted by Robinson Design Studio have made an incredible entry into Bounty Islands Export Sector. But if you dig a bit deeper, it is worrying that the population is declining, at a rate where you may fear the industry will have no hands left to keep up the production. Either we need more babies or we have to evaluate the strict immigration rules. Luckily, we are not there yet, we still got a “balanced” unemployment rate and few vacant jobs, but for how long?”

    June 2058

Besides the 5 Islands belonging to the nation of Bounty Islands, geographically there is another Island, in the Bounty Island Group, currently belonging to the Republic of Venezuela. The Venezuelan island is located west of D'Angelo Island. It is quite poor and has a rather slim population.

President Carla Bruno and representatives from Nvidia have flown to Caracas meeting Venezuelan president Josefa Antonia del Toro in an attempt to purchase the Island. This is part of Carla Bruno’s ambitious “Make Bounty Greater” strategy, expanding territory and improving production output. Some critics claim, she is getting to close with Nvidia leadership and the economy needs more and better jobs, not more land.

    July 2058, Old sheep ranch

It now 11 years since the preservation committee last met declaring The Cattle Road Clinic national treasure back in July 2047. The committee is still led by now 56 years old Council member Thomas Thomas representing the tourist industry. This month, the committee proclaimed, as new national treasure, the old sheep ranch at Mountain Road, today owned and run by Danish company Jørgen Jensen A/S. The ranch is without contest the oldest still existing building, that was part of the original textile industry. Founded between 1906 and 1908 near what is now Mountain Village. Back then, the ranch was owned by King Alfonso XIII’s governor, or one of his trusted men, but of course run by the hard work of simple peasant. The building is also the only one that has survived, since the early years of the 1900’s, of what was to become North District. At the time two sugar plantations and another sheep ranch was constructed in the area. The last, a plantation, was demolished in 2008, with the construction of Pablo Romero’s The Experiential Agricultural Institute, growing sugar in a controlled glass-house environment .
