    Ryuji Taka Family, May 2063

Ryuji Taka, the son of Svetlana and Carlos Taka, was born in a house at Sugar Road, Saint Mary's District March 2016. Ryuji never knew his older sister Mishiko, who died the year he was born. The family continued to live in apartment of varying quality in Saint Mary's District, throughout his childhood and teenage years. Ryuji realized he was homosexual when he was 15 – 16 years old. But he kept it to himself. He was never close to his father, who had a traditional Japanese mindset. But was very close to both his mother and grandmother Alexandra. In 2038 he met the love of his live, 7 years older Oliver Evans. They moved together in Evan’s classic style apartment at South Cepero Road, Miner’s Village. They were both working at S/L shipping when they met, but Oliver got tired of sitting behind the wheel, and started working with tobacco in the early 2040’s. The couple moved from Miners Road to an apartment in Lucia Village. Ryuji lost his mother in 2043 and his father in 2049. Oliver briefly worked at the coal mine, then back in the tobacco fields, before he was back behind the steering wheel, from 2058. After many years in the beautiful classic style apartment behind Cepero Literature Society in Lucia Village. The couple decided to relocate to something smaller, but closer to Cepero City Center. 69 square meters on the 2nd floor in a building between Cepero Department Store and Cepero Theater. They moved in just 3 weeks ago. While Oliver is somewhat reluctant, Ryuji love the city life style.

The New Sullivan headquarter was constructed north of the old now demolished building. Located in the center of Lucia Village. As mentioned, part of the building will be occupied by The Bounty Conservative party and serve as headquarters of the party organization. The Bounty Conservative is only the 5th largest party, and it was only the 3rd time they got a minister when Stefan Klein became Minister of Development after the latest election. The first two was Traffic and Logistics Minister from 2020 to 2030 and Environment and Nature Minister from 2030 to 2040, both positions held by Álvaro Díaz. Never the less the party got many wealthy member and supporters, putting a lot of money into the party’s bank accounts. Making them able to pay the relative high rent.

Rush hour traffic in the area around the southern part of North Harbor Road and The Donkey Curve in Ruiz City, is getting quite bad. Commuters sometimes spend more than an extra hour passing the area, and important truck loads are delayed, slowing production and trade. President Carla Bruno has set up a commission to find possible solutions. The commission members are two lawyers from Legal Department of the President. Chiara Moretti and Leonardo D'Angelo. Leader of the traffic department in Ruiz Main Police Station Mario Rossi, and one member from each political party represented in the parliament.

    January 2064

Political commentator Ana Álvarez from Bounty FM:

The overall result of 2063 was negative, for the first time in several years. Let’s look deeper into some of the underlaying figures. The total export was in fact higher than last year 343.003 compared to 264.024. Driven by very strong sales in Interior Design and Electronics. The tourist sector had a hard year only able to get 70% of last year’s turnover, but that does not impact the overall result to much. The main reason for the negative result of 2063 is some expensive political initiatives, mainly Minister of Security, Oliver Thompson’s costly vaccination program. Resulting in a total public expense, 69.563 coins higher than last year. Healthcare is very important for the current government, so after years of surplus, they decided to use some extra coins on this important sector, with a one-time investment, which will increase the survival probability of an entire generation of children and young people.

A lower birth rate this year, now seriously lower than the death rate, but immigration keeps the total population growing a little. Both unemployment and vacant jobs %, still growing, which is definitely not good. On the positive side, homelessness is very low.

Short 2063 Report from State Statistics Department:

Top 3 Industrial Export: Interior Design 45.000 coins, Electronics 36.832 coins, Rum 26.608 coins.

Top 3 Raw Export: Meat 22.465 coins. Fish 8.513 coins, Coal 7.239 coins,

Tourist Industry: Accommodation 31.771 coins, Other Tourist Consumption: 7.401 coins

    Yearly balance (1): -16.897 coins.

    Payment to Venezuela: 10.500 coins

    Yearly balance (2): -27.397 coins.

Births Rate: 3,19%. Immigration Rate: 0,73%. Death Rate 3,77%. Emigration Rate: 0,00 %. Disappeared: 0,00%

    Unemployed: 3,30%, Job Vacancy 2,99%, Homeless: 0,69%

This year, it will be 100 years since the first Hippie community spawned at the plateau in North District. Located at the end of West Jungle Road. Back then Plateau Village was just a few houses. “Fungus Town” still exists, although shifting generations of young people has of course constantly reinterpreted the concept of an alternative lifestyle.

Friday 4th of January 2064, at 8PM on Bounty TV1

The voice of TV presenter Barbara Brown, Bounty TV1:

Originally, the educational programs now broadcasted at Bounty TV1, was written reports from Department of Political Scienc and later State Statistics Department. The first of these reports, at the time labeled “Facts and figures”, was issued in July 1944, long before TV came to bounty. The 2nd “Facts and figures” report came in March 1957now a much more detailed report, setting the standard, for the reports to follow in March 1971March 1983March 1995and June 2010

From 2024 the heavy publication previously delivered to every household on Bounty Islands, was replaced by a TV series. Transmitted from the beginning of January to the 3rd of October 2024. The series was a huge success for producer Dolores Muñoz, today seen as one of the best TV series or programs made on Bounty Islands.

Friday 18th of January 2064, at 8PM on Bounty TV1

    Presidente Jakub District until 1950.

Traditionally these programs have begun with north district. This time we will start chronologically, beginning with what is today Presidente Jakub District in Ruiz City, originally the political and cultural heart of Bounty Islands.

The first Spanish settlers came to Bounty Islands in 1578, this first settlement was unsuccessful and the population declined over the next 300 years. When King Alfonso XIII came to power in 1882 about 31 families was left. All living in and around the area where Fenna Chapel lies today. When the first new settlers started to arrive in 1884, historians estimate a population of about 20 families, living inside the area that is now Presidente Jakub District. That did not change a lot during the colonial area, we know for certain that it was 24 families in 1920. Only very few buildings still exist from this period. The two farmhouses at the corner of Chapel Road and Maria Ruiz Road from between 1870 and the early 1880’s, Fenna Chapel from 1898 and Bounty Bay Rum from 1904. During the 20th century, the area still had some rural feeling, with the large tobacco plantation west of Maria Ruiz Road. Build between 1910 and 1920. The “Lower Educational Institute” was constructed south of the parliament at Park Road, and the People’s Market was also moved from Coconut Road (Saint Mary’s) to Park Road. The beautiful Mónica Roux Monument was built after her death in 1923, and Chapel Clinic was constructed in the 1920’s. By the middle of the century, both the British and German embassy was constructed. The two distilleries, Bounty Bay and Maria Bird, was the major source of income. Presidente Jakub District was also home of Islands the first police station, build in 1934 at Parrots Allyway. In 1944 the four districts of Bounty Town were officially declared. In 1950, 29 families lived in Presidente Jakub District.

    The Chapel Area 1950

    jsc4gah.jpeg

Part 2. Presidente Jakub District 1950-2000

In 1951 Bounty Town was officially renamed to Bounty City. Due to suspicions of a possible invasion from foreign powers, military presence was again high on the agenda in the 1950’s. In Presidente Jakub District resulting in an army camp between the two embassies built in 1952. Also new residential buildings spawned. The area around the chapel was now referred to as Roux Residential Area, with its own private parking house. Also, in the early 50’s the “Lower Educational Institute” was worn out and demolished. In the early 60’s the first bus line was located in the district. Line C, from Shack Village Road to Harbor district. In the area south of the parliament, the “Council of the Districts” was constructed in 1978. This area now also the location of some expensive houses and mansions. Amongst them the now famous “Mansion of Dr. Sofia Pellegrini” from 1977. After the death of the president in 1980, the area was named Juan Pérez Residential Area. In 1981 United Industrial Workers union transformed Maria Bird distillery into Maria Bird Gold & Jewelry, due to falling prices on rum. Hotel America, Bounty Islands’ first hotel was built in 1985. The only apartment block ever in the district, higher than 3 floors, Fenna Tower, was built in 1989. With new and somewhat better apartments for the area's proletariat. Hotel America Burger was built in the early 90’s. The fast-food restaurant very successful, attracting customers from both the city and north district. Retail store “Embassy Grocery” opened in 1995, now the only shop in Presidente Jakub District, as the “People's Market” was previously relocated to Cattle Road District. 59 families lived in the district at the turn of the century.

    The Embassy Area 2000

    JqC3d3d.jpeg

Part 3. Presidente Jakub District 2000-2024

The parking garage in Monica Roux Residential Area was demolished in 2008, and new apartment buildings and houses constructed near the monument. The original plan was to build a movie theater at the former garage grounds, but the terrible thunder storms that hit Bounty during the first months of 2006, overheated the construction marked and the project was dropped by López Construction, due to financial issues. From 2009 the area on both sides of Shark Village Road was named “Fenna-Roux residential area”. A new garage was built next to Hotel America. In 2010 The Cultural House was moved to Juan Pérez Residential Area, from its previous location in Saint Mary’s District. In 2013 Hotel America and the connected burger joint was relocated to Cattle Road District. From 2014 López Construction started to demolish relatively new working-class homes east of Fenna Chapel, and replaced them with new upper-class mansions. The German embassy moved to Saint Mary’s, making room for the spiritual Baptist church, erected on Old Banana Road, opening in 2017. Restaurant “The Pineapple Chow” opened next to Mónica Roux Monument in March 2019. TV1 Bounty City later the same year. In 2024, 71 families lived in the Presidente Jakub District.

    Ronnie Sullivan Family, February 2064.

Ronnie Sullivan, the son of Alexandre Martin and Dolores Sullivan, was born March 1986 in a small modest apartment on Cepero Main, New Village. The family moved and he spend his childhood in Lucia Village. In 2003, his mother became the chairman of Sullivan Oil. Ronnie Sullivan finished his education and lead the compagnies oil operation in the eastern part of the jungle. Ronnie’s girlfriend Cristina moved in with him, occupying their own private floor at his mother’s large 3 story house at Smirnov Road. They moved out in 2010, now renting a large but relative cheap apartment next to Cepero Department Store. The couple married in 2020 and Cristina gave birth to their daughter Vera in 2022. In 2028 the family was extended with their son Stephen. His mother retired in 2042, and Ronnie Sullivan became the chairman of Sullivan Oil. Taking over the company, Ronnie Sullivan bought South Jungle Tower, using the upper half as private residence, turning the lower part into Sullivan Oil headquarters. In 2043 Ronnie was elected chairman of Bounty Industry Association, the year after taking part in Bounty’s delegation to COP89 in Delhi. They got their Grandson son Mike in August 2046, the son of Vera. In the 50’s Cristina worked parttime as doctor at Cepero North Hospital, but retired from her medical duties in 2059, to focus on the family business. November 2062, Ronnie and Cristina both stepped down from day-to-day leadership of Sullivan Oil, although they are still at the board. Besides a luxury apartment at the new Sullivan HQ, they also got a smaller apartment in Plateau Village, enjoying the cooler air in North District as well as the quieter life in the village. They are both 77 years old, Cristina quite energetic for her age, whereas Ronnie appears to be much older than her.

    Presidente Jakub District 2024-2052

Roux Monument Metro opened in 2027, the last station on the four-stop city ring. In the early 30’s a major infrastructure project transformed Presidente Jakub District. Bounty Cigar's Limited had already decided to sell the plantation at Maria Ruiz Road, due to restrictions on Cigar production. The project involved a tunnel to Plateau Village. A short Bounty Bay Bridge connecting Parrots Road with Bay Street. A new route called New Bird Street, becoming the entry point of the tunnel and connecting Bay Street and the bridge with Shark Village Road and Corpus Christi Street. The Old Banana Road connection, completely removed. A Courthouse was built at Maria Ruiz Road in 2035. Both existing bus garages in the district was demolished, a new constructed at Bay Street. In 2036, local radio station, Radio North, was constructed at the corner of Corpus Christi Street and Jungle Passage. The historical area around Fenna Chapel, with the chapel itself, the colonial era farmhouses and the old park, was declared national treasure. From 2041 restaurant 豬肉菠蘿 (Zhūròu Bōluó) opened in what used to be “The Pineapple Chow”. In 2046 City Truck opened a depot on Mountain Road. Circus owner Natasha Rodríguez sold her old circus in Saint Mary’s and instead opened Bounty Tivoli in 2048, located close to Plateau Village tunnel on New Bird Street. The bus depot moved from Bay Street, back to Parrots Allyway. The 130 years old wooden parliament building could not be saved, it was torn down. The gigantic Bounty City Park and Bounty Central Hospital from 2049 was constructed on the old parliament ground. The same year Mother Mila’s Tomb was raised next to the Baptist church. Bounty City lost capital city status in November 2051. To accommodate the tourist industry, which felt that the previous names could be confusing for visitors, what used to be Bounty Island, was renamed to Ruiz Island and Bounty City renamed to Ruiz City, in April 2052. The number of inhabitants in Presidente Jakub District declined a lot during this period falling from 71 families in 2024 to just 58 families in 2052.

Part 2. Presidente Jakub District 2052-2064

Based on recommendations from University Research Laboratory, In February 2054, The Environmental Station opened, in what used to be the southwest corner of Ruiz City Park. Doctors and scientist had seen a growth in diseases, that might be related to rats and pigeons living in the uncollected piles of garbage in residential areas. July the same year, the Mausoleum and Catacombs of Ruiz City was constructed in the northeast corner of Ruiz City Park. All in all, reducing the park area with more that 70%. In October the same year, Cielo Hotels opened a hotel on the corner of Shark Village Road and New Bird Street, the 2nd Cielo hotel on Bounty Islands. After all those important development in the district in 2054, nothing very interesting has happened since. The old parliament district, in a way, has fallen asleep. Even the reforestation project, started back in 2050 by Professor Javier Gutiérrez, is only visible in quite a few places, compared to other areas of Bounty Islands. With some trees along Donkey Curve and others in the area between Bounty Bay Bridge and Maria Ruiz Road. 57 families lived in Presidente Jakub District the 1st of January 2064.

    Harbor District until 1950.

Previously, very little was known about how Harbor District may have looked like during the original Spanish/Puerto Rican settlement. Only that an older wooden pier, located about where the shipyard is today, burned in the early 1800’s, and was replaced by the first stone pier, located approximately where the modern trade pier is. However, recent archaeological research has shown that there were both forts and dwellings in the area where South Harbor Road is today. Dwellings have also been identified near Fisherman's Road and Parrots Allyway. However, we do not know exactly how many people lived there at the same time. In the Imperial Era at the beginning of the 20th century, we got Bounty Bay Harbor, a leather workshop, the Original Bounty Bay Rum distillery from 1884. Ruben Ruiz Memorial was constructed in 1903, the Naval Station and The Sailors Homes from 1906, the Fishing Pier from 1908. We also know of another residential building near South Harbor Road. Around 1910 most of what is how Harbor District was still jungle. The Imperial Institute (today’s Department of Political Science) was constructed in 1915. In the years after the revolution, the leather workshop was moved to the north. Bounty Cigar's Limited established their two factories, one in 1922 and 2nd in 1931. Bay Cheese Ltd. was formed by a group of farmers in 1927. In this period the first bridge to Cepero Island was constructed and Connection Passway was created. Also the first organized teamster business appears in the district, carrying good from the factories to the town and dock, or picking up goods from farms at Cepero Island, bringing them to Bounty Town. The south part with the large fountain was added to Ruben Ruiz Memorial in the early 1930’s, in 1936 parts of the original memorial construction was damages by fire during the large thunderstorm, later reconstructed from 1937 to 1938. In this period the army now also present in the area. In 1941 sheep farmer Robert Johnson build a factory and R. Johnson WorkWear was born. The small Bay Side Residential Area was also formed in this period, located at Trade Street along Bounty Bay. The Home of some workers from the areas factories. In 1944, Harbor district was officially declared. 21 families lived in Harbor District at the beginning of 1950.

A cargo ship docks in 1950. It comes to pick up a large load of bananas, several pallets of unprocessed coffee and cocoa beans, as well as smaller quantities of unprocessed wool, corn and milk.

    Part 2. Harbor District 1950-2000

Bounty Town was renamed to Bounty City in 1951. The owner of R. Johnson Workwear and The Johnson Ranch, Robert Johnson died in 1953. Otherwise, nothing changed in the district during the 50’s. In 1961 the bus stop of line C, was placed on Connection Passway right outside R. Johnson WorkWare. During the 1960’s the independent organization of free truck drivers formed. From 1967 known as “City Trucks”. Only the two transport compagnies at the south side of the strait was not organized in the group. Biel Martínez’s depot at South Coast Road was renamed to City Truck Harbor. In 1979 R. Johnson Holdings, sold Johnson Families’ original sheep ranch to the government, instead investing in extending their factory. In 1981 R. Johnson WorkWear opened in a new production line, expanding the workforce with 20%. The state now owned empty land on both sides of South Harbor Road. A security checkpoint was set up at the northern entry point of Ruiz Strait Crossing, somewhat delaying transports heading for the districts factories and the harbor. In 1986 Bounty City got the Islands first larger healthcare institution, Bounty City Hospital, located at Connection Passway in Harbor District. The criminal organization “Loyal to Familia” had grown very strong since the late 70’s. In 1987 they were behind the construction of both the Shipyard at Trade Street and the offshore Diver’s Club located in Inland Sea at the entrance of Bounty Bay. According to police and military intelligence, both running a mix of legal and illegal activities. In 1988 the organization opened night club Babilonia, at South Harbor Road next to the hospital. In 1992 fire broke out in Department of Political Science, damaging the library with the loss of important books and studies. In 1994 the government bought back the area where the original night club was constructed just 6 years earlier. To place Harbor District Police Station at the location. A few month later a  2nd Club Babilonia opened across the street, at the corner of Fisherman’s Road and South Harbor Road. This rather strange occurrences, generated some political criticism from the opposition and a lot of media attention. Due to the seemingly unnecessary waste of tax coins and the possible corruption that may have taken place. Later the same year, some residential homes was constructed, neighboring the police station and the hospital. In 1998 more residential building was added at Maria Ruiz Road next to the cheese factory. At the beginning of Year 2000, 32 families lived in Harbor District.

    Harbor District 2000-2025

Over a three-year period beginning in 2002, The Trade Pier at Bounty Bay Harbor was renovated, getting brand new storage facilities, customs office, and passenger terminal. Also, City Truck Harbor’s depot building was renovated in this period. Harbor District Police Station was severely damaged during the 2006 thunderstorms. The remains to what used to be Bay Side Residential Area was bought by R. Johnson Holdings and demolished in 2006, the company’s new headquarters at Trade Street, was ready in January 2007. New residential buildings were constructed between the police station and the hospital late the same year. In 2017 construction of some residential working-class apartment buildings began at Fisherman’s Road, across the street from the Fishing Pier. The first residents Stefan and Monika moved in February 2018. The construction of the much larger Bounty Bay Residential Complex, began in December 2023, opening in April 2024. In October 2024 the first metro station “The Harbor” was finished. After the construction of “Cattle Road” metro station in the beginning of November, the first metro line was officially opened by president Martina Smirnov. 58 families lived in Harbor District, January 2025.

    Part 2. Harbor District 2025-2052

In 2027 the old Ruiz Strait Crossing was demolished, the new Babette López Crossing connected only to Cattel Road District. Also in 2027, the bus stop between President Smirnov’s School and R. Johnson WorkWear was terminated. In 2028 a new bus line IC2 connected Harbor District to Cepero Waterfront, with stop close to the Harbor Metro. In March 2034, Bounty Cigar’s 2nd production line was demolished, due to the restrictions on tobacco products. The old City Hospital at Connection Passway was demolished and in July the same year a brand new and modern Bounty City Hospital was located on the former cigar factory ground. Also, in 2034 a group of apartments houses on Maria Ruix Road was demolished, the area now part of The Council Park located on both sides of the road. Bounty Bay Harbor was declared national treasure in 2036, Original Bounty Rum Distillery and The Sailors Homes in 2037. The Yacht Club, originally meant to be a part of the Cepero Main Project, was never build, instead Bounty City’s private yacht owners constructed their own marina in 2038, located between the Harbor and the Shipyard. In 2039, Visit Bounty Headquarter was constructed next to R. Johnson WorkWear, with two parks north and south of the main building. In 2039, Ruben Ruiz Memorial was declared national treasure. During the 2041 thunderstorms, Bounty City Hospital caught fire and was severely damaged. Maj 2049, due to a healthcare reform, Bounty City Hospital was transformed, now specialized in cancer and medical treatment. The hospital was renamed to Ruben Ruiz Medical Hospital. Bounty City becomes Ruiz City. An international price war on cheese in 2050 put pressure on the profitability of Leone Bay Cheese Ltd. At the time with an average consumer price on locally produced cheese at just 22,62 pieces a pound. Today, demand is unusually high, leading to an average consumer price of 56,17 a pound and Leone Bay Cheese Ltd. is doing fine again. The latest reduction of residential areas has resulted in further decrease in the districts population. Just 37 families lived in Harbor District January 2052.

    Part 3. Harbor District 2052-2064

In 2053 Sculpture artist Jacob Robinson belonging to the Anaconda Group. Created a large paper mache house boat. Blocking the entrance to the trade pier at Bounty Bay Harbor. In 2054 the first steps in creating a greener harbor district were taken, many small fast-growing plants and trees was planted in 2054-2055. By 2059, this project along with project in other districts resulted in Ruiz City being voted into the top 3 of the greenest Caribbean urban areas. Especially the area along Bounty Bay received much praise. The first Babette López Crossing from 2027, turned out to be problematic with only two possible directions at the entry to Ruiz City. Creating too much heavy traffic at South Coast Road towards Harbor District. In 2059 the bridge was renovated and at the same time adjusted, now again connecting to the intersection of South Coast Road and Connection Passway. City Truck Harbor Depot was on fire in 2060 and R. Johnson WorkWear caught fire in the hot summer of 2063. Otherwise not much was changed in Harbor District over the latest 12 years. Just 34 families lived in Harbor District, January 2064.

    Saint Mary’s District until 1920

It is unclear if the Spanish/Puerto Rican settlement was every far enough into the East Jungle to reach what is now Saint Mary’s District. Some evidence like tools and weapons from the 18th and early 19th century was found in the area, but may well have belonged to Tequesta Natives, acquired by trade or warfare. We know for a fact that between 1880 and 1890 three new plantations was constructed. A corn plantation just east of North Harbor Road, a sugar plantation a little further east and a coffee plantation, quite far into the jungle northeast of the town center. We also know that most of the farmers lived in a large shack village, around the intersection of Shark Village Road and North Harbor Road. The gravel tracks that were to become Coffee Road, Coconut Road and Sugar Road also appeared in the period. Historians also know for a fact that the shack village was gone in 1900 replaced by two separate settlements. A small farming community at the intersection of Coffee Road and Sugar Road, another slightly larger community between Coconut Road and Pasture Road. In the meantime, the Old Town Fortress was finished in 1886, the gold mine in 1896 and the circus in 1897. At this point also coconut collection had begun deeper into East Jungle. By 1900 also teamster and builders operated, from what is now Saint Mary’s District. Mine Square and Sugar Square had become meeting places for the locals. In 1911 Peoples Market came at Coconut Road, supplying the daily needs of the townies. The year after The Revolutionary foundation, created the Cultural House, between Coconut Road and Pasture Road. In 1914, the governor founded Popov Popin, a gift to one of his mistresses. In 1915 an encounter with pirated took place in the jungle, in what is now the northeast part of Saint Mary’s District. In 1916, a 2nd fort was constructed, in the Jungle east of Pasture Road, to fight the waves of pirate attacks. In the years just prior to the revolution one of the teamsters was moved to North Harbor Road, next to the corn plantation. In 1919, the governor built his private warehouse at the intersection of North Harbor Road and Pasture Road, soon after the revolution began.

    Part 2. Saint Mary’s District 1920-1950

Right after the revolution, Original Leather was moved from Harbor district, and located north of Coffee Road. People’s Market was moved from Coconut Road to Park Road (Presidente Jakub District). In 1924 Saint Mary’s Church was constructed just across the street from The Parliament, facing North Harbor Road. A new permanent stronghold for the Bounty catholic church, led by parish priest Max Willems. In 1934 a small prison, was located next to Original Leather, on what was now called Prison Road. Actually, just a small section of gravel, leading north from Coffee Road. The 2nd fort was destroyed in the 1930’s, as the pirates seemed to be permanently defeated. A goat Farm was built at Coconut Road in the same period. The area, later known as Saint Mary’s Residential also formed in the 1930’s, with many new apartment buildings constructed around The Cultural House. In 1940 the very first bus line opened in Bounty Town, starting at North Harbor Road next to the circus, connecting the town with Cepero Island. The depot located at Coffee Road. In 1942 a group of apartment buildings was constructed at the east side of what was then called Long Connecter Street. In 1944 Saint Mary’s District was officially declared. 45 families lived in Saint Mary’s District in 1950.

Friday 28th of March 2064, at 8PM on Bounty TV1

    Saint Mary’s District until 1950-2000

Bounty Islands first prison from 1934 was demolished. Due to the unhealthy, cold and damped living conditions for both prisoners and staff. A new larger State Prison opened in October 1952. Secret Bounty Military constructed their headquarters SMB1 at Coffee Road, in 1956. Later the same year they hired their most famous agent, Aurora Brissi. In the years around 1960, homelessness was quite high, and many people set up temporal shelter in simple, poorly constructed buildings, many located in Saint Mary’s District. Especially in the area around Popov Popin Pub, or behind the bus depot. Around 1965 most of the shacks was again removed. In 1966 the only transport company left in the district, became part of the free truck organization. In the early 1970’s some older residential buildings were removed next to Mine Square, making room for Bounty City University, opening there in 1973. Over 11 years from 1964 to 1975, famous artist Andreas Wolf constructed the 15 stone sculptures named Faces of Power, located just east of the sugar plantation, at the end of Coconut Road. In 1977 the first classic style apartment buildings in the district, was erected between Staint Mary’s Church and Mine Square, on Coconut Road. Saint Mary’s Residential was officially declared. In 1978 the old Community House (previously governor warehouse), was torn down making room for St. Mary’s Grocery, on the south side of the church. Also in 1978, a new bus line opened, connected sugar square to the city center. Making visits to Faces of Power much easier. The line was relative short lived, discontinued in 1983. In the 70’s famous painter Andreas Wolf and his wife, bought so called “Red Louvre”  and decorated it as a gallery to exhibit his works. In this period, also a small military post was located at north harbor road, next to the circus. In 1994 the old circus building caught fire, one person died. In 1994 some middle-class homes were constructed at Sugar Road next to Popov Popin. The same year a large military base was located next to the state prison at Coffee Road. In 1995 the classic style apartments in Saint Mary’s Residential was demolished. In 1996 a waste dump was placed on the corner of Long Connector Road and Coconut Road. In 1999 the government bought O’Neill family’s corn plantation from the 1880s. Despite some protest, the old building was demolished to make room for further city growth. 50 families lived in Saint Mary’s District, January 2000.

    Part 2. Saint Mary’s District 2000-2020

In 2001 a group of working-class apartment building, was raised at Coffee Road. In early 2004 Prison Road was extended around Leone Accessories and into the jungle behind the prison and army base. United Food constructed a sugar plantation, close to the Native Village. At springtime 2005, Schubert Holding constructed their headquarters, “The Schubert Building” between the University and Saint Mary’s Church. Later the same year Russia opened an embassy, at the new Prison Road extension. In 2006 also Saudi Arabia opened an embassy, in the area between The Tequesta Village and the army base. During the 2006 thunderstorms the army base was severely damaged by fire. In 2007 President Thomas Williams, was behind the construction of the Trade and Logistics Department, from 2010 home of the new Traffic and Logistics Ministry. In 2009 Loyal to Familia’s opened Bounty City Motel at the corner Coffee Road and Sugar Road. In 2010 The Cultural House was moved to Presidente Jakub District. Freeing space for Bounty Islands first shopping center, Harbor Road Shopping Mall. Replacing Saint Mary’s Grocery at the corner of North Harbor Road and Pasture Road. Schubert Holding funded Schubert Park, next to their HQ. In 2010 Danish Jørgen Jensen bought United Food’s Sugar plantation, aiming to introduce modern livestock farming on Bounty Islands. Also, in 2010 Prison Road was extended west to connect directly to Mountain Road. The part previously connecting to Coffee Road, was renamed to Saint Mary North. In 2011 Jørgen Jensen A/S, constructed modern cattle farming facilities at Prison Road, soon on the marked with his low-price steaks and minced beef, by-products used in Shubert's production of processed foods and Leone Accessories.  In 2013 The Chinese Embassy opened at long Connecter Road and Chinese e-commerce company JD.com () opened its office, with attached Cocktail Bar Beijing. In the center of what was soon to become Bounty China Town. Later the same year Museo de Arte Moderno opened at North Harbor Road, next to the circus building. Also, a super modern upper-class mansion was constructed at Coconut Road, and the garbage dump at the corner of Long Connector Road and Coconut Road was removed, making room for Connecter Square. At that point, the politicians could not agree on an alternative location. The waste was dumped into the sea. In 2014 Yelena Johnson bought Leone Accessories, the workshop was rebranded to R. Johnson Leather. López Construction bought Leone Families old Sugar Plantation, at Sugar Square, aiming for further development of the district. Now the rural impression Saint Mary’s District once had, was definitely gone for good. Saint Mary’s Hospital opened in 2015, located between Museo de Arte Moderno and the Traffic and Logistics Ministry. From 2017 to 2019 López Construction began to build, what was to become Sugar Road Residential Area. With City Truck’s northeast depot, apartments and houses constructed east of Sugar Road. 72 families lived in Saint Mary’s District, January 2020.

    April 2064

Ronnie Sullivan died 78 years old. He was the former chairman of Sullivan Oil and chairman of Bounty Industry Association. Since 2020 married to Cristina Sullivan, with whom he got their daughter Vera and son Stephen. Ronnie chose a funeral in Abbey of the Holy Mother, in the spirit of his grandmother Sister Sullivan. The Abbey was full of people. Basically, every living descendant of his grandmother came. Besides his own bloodline, the Dubois and Sánchez families. Most of the political establishment was there, with Counsil Members, Ministers as well as ranked bureaucrats from the Legal Department. Many members of the higher classes came, factory owners, professors, generals, and the like. Also, many commoners, come to say farewell to this special man, and of course a lot of people from the press. Ronnie Sullivan was laid to rest in the Abbey Park.

As planned back in 2048, the Catholic Church demolished the Circus Park and the old Saint Mary’s Church from 1924. To construct Saint Mary’s Cathedral at the site. The cathedral was consecrated, by the first Archbishop of Bounty Islands, Francisco Navarro, in 2053. In this period the first steps towards reforestation also began in the district, starting what was to become Embassy Forrest. In 2056, an earthquake hit Saint Mary’s District, devastating a large part the finance ministry, destroying the Schnider family mansion and the eastern parts of Coffee Road. Cleaning after the earthquake took until December 2057. The eastern part of Coconut Road was extended along the sculpture park, renamed too New Coconut Road. New Coffee Road continued from New Coconut Road, along the edge of the sculpture park, northwest to connect United Food Coffee and Fujian Fish to the road network. A small farmhouse was built between the hill formed by the earthquake and Saint Mary's State Prison. In the period reforestation west of Faces of Power, was also beginning to show. The previously mentioned farmhouse survived just two years. In 2060, monks from Chunping Temple, bought the land between the Temple and the State Prison and turned it into a public access temple park. 89 families lived in Saint Mary’s District, January 2064.

    Cattle Road District until 1920

With the latest excavations carried out by archaeologists from Bounty University, we have gained a better picture of the earliest development in what is today the Cattle Road District. Seems quite clear that the first expansion into what is now Cattle Road District, was the establishment of a sugar plantation and manure depot, close to The King’s Strait (later Ruben Ruiz Strait), constructed between 1885 and 1887. Remains of a fireplace, kitchen equipment and some clothes remnants, close to the manure, proves the existence of a simple hut, inhabited by a small family of three or four members. Living here at the time. The next step came in 1897, where a cattle ranch was moved southeast from the original settlement up to a new location on the south side of what was to become Pasture Road. Soon after another cattle ranch was constructed on the newly established Cattle Road. Located where movie theatre Cine De Loro is today. Also, here archaeologists find prove of huts or shacks, used as human homes. The first more solid homes in the district were established in 1898 and 1899, located on what is now The Donkey Curve (back then a part of South Harbor Road). The first where restaurant Señor Vieira is today, the second where we now got the Export Department. In 1901, an encounter with pirates took place, about where Bounty Bank is today. Alicja Chapel was constructed in 1904, at the intersection of Catte Road and South Harbor Road, next to The Donkey Mansion. The same year another encounter with pirates took place, at the sugar plantation on South Harbor Road. Between 1910 and 1920, we know from archives found in The Governor’s Mansion and The Governor’s Warehouse, that a corn plantation was constructed at Forest Road, a cocoa plantation was constructed at a new road named Plantation Street, extending Forest Road east of Cattle Road. The documents also mention another new road Long Connector Street, running north to south from Sugar Square to Cattle Road. The archives also mention a teamster depot and several new hunt and other residentials, housing the farmers and teamsters, mainly located on both sides of Cattle Road. Sadly, archaeologists have not been able to neither verify nor more precisely date this development. Today historians expect that approximately 38 families lived in the Cattle Road area at the beginning of 1920. Significantly more than what was previously assumed.

Part 2. Cattle Road District 1920-1950

In 1921, Two Italian Doctors Lorenzo Brissi and Lori Dremel, opened the first proper healthcare facility in Bounty Town, The Cattle Road Clinic. In the 1920’s we also see the 2nd, so called Jungle Fort, was moved from Saint Mary’s District to a location on a short road named Muñoz Path, east of Long Connector Road. Also, a new tobacco plantation was located at Muñoz Path in this period. A group of better apartment building was located on the east side of Catte Road. At Pasture Road, Sem and Heike Muis started the company, that is today’s Ramos Construction. Also, the still existing fire station was located at Pasture Road in the 1920’s. The 2nd Fort was finally demolished in the early 1930’s, as the pirate attacks had faded out. In early 1934 foreign minister Luuk Willems opened a special Export Department at “The Donkey Curve”. Later in 1934 The leader of the “Order of Fen” Alicja Volkov bought the cocoa plantation at Plantation Street, it was demolished to make room for Sergio Navarro’s “Gaia’s birth of Jesus” monument, finished in late 1935. In the 1930’s investors bought the Sugar Plantation at South Coast Road, soon demolished to construct the first houses and apartment buildings, in what was the origin of Cattle Road Residential area including what was later named President Purple Villa. Also, in the 1930’s, Ruiz Strait Crossing and Connection Passway was constructed, and a rescue center build across the street from Robert Johnson’s Sheep Ranch. In 1944, Teatro De Tropico was constructed west of Cattle Road. Later the same year Cattle Road District was officially declared. also, in the mid 40’s, a new road was established, Gaia Road, from Plantation Street moving south of the Gaia’s birth of Jesus” monument, at the end of the road, the Rodríguez family constructed a new Cocoa plantation. In 1947 Alicja Volkov was buried at the “Gaia’s birth of Jesus” monument, the first time the monument was used as a graveyard. In the late 1940’s president Jakub Piotrowski moved into the 3-story classical house at Cattle Road, from now almost always called “President Purple Villa”. In this period the term Cattle Road Residential Area was now also commonly used. Ruiz Strait Clinic opened in the late 1940’s. 40 families lived in the district at the beginning of 1950.

Gaia’s birth of Jesus, 1945, at the time quite far from the town.

    Maj 2064

Over the latest three years, 24 years old Venezuelan anthropologist Amelia Nunez, has traveled into the native regions of Bounty Islands. Visiting the two Islands of Ayiti Nation Reservation as well as the Calusa Nation Reservation on Cepero Island. During her travels, she met Chiefs from the many local tribes, asking her to bring some essential modern item, medication as well as small boats and firearms needed for hunting and fishing. After some thoughts, she has decided to set up a trade, attempting to help the natives with supplies, hoping this can help prevent young people from moving to the civilization. She opened the trade office at Calle de la Granja, next to De Sousa’s corn plantation, at Antonia Del Toro Island.
