Origin with extracheats.dll

I have SC4 installed with Origin. I can't seem to get the extracheats.dll working or the moneytree v1 working. No matter where I put them it doesn't work. And since its installed with Origin I don't have a Plugins folder. As I understand it should go into the SimCityUserData folder but that doesn't work. Any ideas?

The main Plugins folder for SC4 should be located in the user Documents directory: Documents\SimCity 4\Plugins

I believe the SimCityUserData is a folder for SC13 and not SC4 specifically.

Hopefully this might help for starters.

The Extra Cheats DLL must be installed inside the root of Plugins (with no subfolders).

It should be noted that SC4 of the Origin version does not contain all the necessary patches most likely due to the lack of these necessary patches the Mod DLLs are not working and the other mods including NAM will not work.

I recommend you to get an SC4 version from Steam or GOG as they are the patched versions

Ok that's my problem then...Origin. And yeah I have SC13. Thanks

Thanks for the reply. It has been a very long time since I've played and want to play again for fun. Will jump on GOG and Download it now.
