NAM does not load. I have SimCity 4 deluxe from GOG.

I purchased SimCity 4 deluxe from GOG and its "almost" working. i don't know diddle about how to properly do dependencies and such. i know i need NAM  and i have NAM 39 now. i put it in the plugins folder but it will not function. any assistance would be really appreciated. love this game and want to play it again.. been gone a long time.. i have windows 10 on a PC.. sorry about that.. but it is what it is. 

hope you can teach an ignorant old fart how to properly install and manage his stuff..

When you say 'I put it in the  plugins folder', did you extract and run the installation program after downloading? It is a little different than you might be used to if you have used earlier versions of NAM. There are several requirements depending upon whether you have ever installed NAM before or not.

In the download, there is an html file named '0-read-first' file that really should be read over if not familiar with the installation process. There is also a video made by @rsc204 that covers most installation procedures.

If you have done the suggested steps for installation, a more specific description of issues you are encountering may help in diagnosis.
