Transparent zoning / roads

I’ve been playing SimCity 4 on this computer for months with no issues, but just in the last week I’ve had a problem with the new zoning and new roads not showing up hardly at all. It makes it difficult to see where roads will end up inside of zoning and connecting several roads together for expansion in the city. After I’ve placed the zoning then it shows up like normal and once roads are built then they show up like normal, it’s only a problem when placing new zones and while roads are being constructed. Buildings and infrastructure also flicker when the camera is moving. Any help with this issue would be appreciated!

Hiya @JP, I'm sorry to ask you this, Would you mind to show a pic of what it looks like, so that experts on this could give more specific advice, Nevertheless, as you mentioned about Buildings and infrastructure also flicker when the camera is moving, i'm basing my guess that it maybe a Graphics issue, what if change your render mod to 'software'? Sorry for if it wasn't able to be more helpful.

I tried the software render and that resulted in moving waves of good graphics to bad graphics. I’ll post a screen shot soon.

I wonder if it might have to do with the level of detail settings. Try setting City Details to High:

Ah, I used to have the same issue before,

I couldn't recall my solution then due to long ago, Dimly remember that it's a Graphic issue as @CorinaMarie deduced, May i ask what is your Graphics card? is it ATI? I will try my best to recollect more later.

Well i'm sorry, it seems i couldn't recall more details except settings of Graphics driver, Can you found an option some like "Force anti-aliasing" or keywords relative to "Anti-aliasing"? you could try to adjust them to see if the issue insists. Sorry for if isn't able to be more helpful.
