Trying to download SC4 Mapper

hello 

fist off i am trying to download sc4 mapper all the links are broken everywhere and the other site dont seem to work anymore. i found something on github bit it doesn't have a installer with it must be for a different platform, i do not really know, anyway i am running win10 and a steam version.

i haven't played sc4 for sometime probably about 10 years and i am looking into making a SC4 type game myself so i am looking at ideas and some general rules, what better to look at then the best city builder of all time, with all its mods.

With the LEX currently down for maintenance due to the server issues and upcoming migration to a new host, the file entries including that for SC4 Mapper are currently unavailable. As a temporary measure, there has been a files exchange setup as @Tarkus explained here, with the exchange being locally hosted by the board software.

Mentioned there is how SC4 Mapper has been uploaded, along with a few other files. I suspect it'll require a forum account to access that section. Currently viewing as a guest and I only see the page with a "Recent Files" title, and nothing appears to be listed for download.

I certainly do recommend SimCity 4 as the city building game of choice, and welcome back to it.

Thanks, Works Like charm, all the fond memory are coming back, and probably all the time wasted , grate game, simple not over complicated dose what it dose well. i have tried other city building games in the past city XL, City's Skylines but they just don't captivate me like Se4 dose.

wouanagaine was one of the founding members of New Horizons Productions (NHP, which moved its primary base of operations from ST to SC4D in 2007), as well as one of the earliest staff members at SC4D.  As such, to promote the site's opening, he made a number of tools that were LEX-only ("LEXclusive", I suppose), including SC4Mapper, BSC Cleanitol, and SC4DatPacker, plus the later SC4 PIM and SC4Save.

Additionally, at the time that SC4Mapper was originally created, NHP-affiliated mappers were pretty much the only ones making use of the .SC4M format (which wouanagaine created), and most of those maps were on the LEX.  It took a couple of years before .SC4M files started hitting the STEX with any frequency--up until that point, the old .jpg-format maps were still the norm.
